Ample of parking,very pleasant hotel,modern,clean,staff are helpful and friendly quick check in and out ,accomadated our dog ðð¼.enjoyed a meal at the bar,lovely breakfast,had a lovely 3 course meal in the restaurant.booked through superbreak and was excellent value for money.used the pool,sauna and gym.
Unfortunately the bar didn't do cocktails but are planning on serving them in a couple of months time so the barman told me.only one little let down,the jacuzzi was uncomfortably cool and the air/bubbles were really cold.i couldn't stay in for long.As a luxury a lot of people look forward to I feel this should be fixed âï¸

Stayed on Tuesday night when
Visiting the area. Lovely welcoming staff on reception and in the reception. We enjoyed the evening meal even though it was cool. I did see extra heaters brought out but it was a freezing night. The room was clean and was fine. The bed comfortable with thick duvet. I believe they're renovating many rooms. The breakfast had lots of choice. The owner and manager were asking people for there opinion and were mentioning the improvements they intend to make
We will go again it's so handy for the motorway

Booked a table for 2 for a special occasion. Food was tasty, but the restaurant was freezing & the service very poor. Portable heaters everywhere, & the waiting staff appeared to concentrate on the larger corporate tables rather than private bookings. We asked to see the wine list which initially our waitress did not know whether there was one, & when we finally managed to order a bottle it was not served until we had nearly finished our main course. To cap it all, when we came to pay, what appeared to be the duty manager took our payment in a most aggressive manner without a pleasantry in sight. Appeared stressed out. Had it not been for the food the kitchen served this would have been a 1 star experience. We will not be returning.

Impressive building, but I was given a dog room. Fair enough I had a dog, but the carpet was stained, wall dirty, heating not on, bed side lights didnât work, no heating in bathroom. Room service did not answer the phone. Spring bed. I had to pay £15 a night extra for that? Why? My dog does not moult and didnât make a mess.
Plus side, good WiFi, decent tv and Yorkshire Tea Bags. Friendly reception. INot enough to make me stay again.

Myself and my partner have just got back from a weekend break here, booked via Groupon. We couldnât believe what was included for the price it was great! £99, 2 night bed and breakfast with a 2 course meal each on the first night and access to the spa facilities. The room was large and very clean. There was a great selection on the menu for us to choose from, and small extra charges for items like steak. The food was lovely and well presented. We loved the spa facilities: swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. Breakfast exceeded expectations, a wide variety of hot and cold buffet with lots to choose from. Would definitely book this deal again, what a bargain! :)
