We had a studio on the first floor. Very large room with small terrace. Kitchen with usual stuff plus dishwasher and hob. The people here seem to be very thoughtful about what they offer - toiletries high quality, milk in fridge good, two tea towels, scourer , plenty of wine glasses etc. Good guest laundry with either drier or washing line. Not the cheapest but were we ever in Nelson again this would be our choice.

Stayed one night either side of heading down to Picton to do Queen Charlotte Track and greeted warmly at reception. Hotel is super close to a supermarket and a very very short walk to the centre of town so is convenient to shops and plenty of restaurants as well as the Intercity bus terminal. We were lucky enough to be put in a 1 bedroom suite - rooms are beautifully furnished, plenty of space, with fully self contained kitchen. Bathrooms spotlessly clean and stocked with tissues, lotions etc. Beds really comfortable too. Great stay and highly recommended - thank you.

My daughter and I stayed, in room 314, for two nights last weekend to attend my son graduation which was being held in Nelson. Very comfortable, very clean room with everything provided. Also a great location to the town centre. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and upon our departure were asked about my son's graduation which was a very nice touch. Highly recommend.

Couple of nights at the Cedar Grove where we were readily able to walk to the markets, centre of town, centre of New Zealand for that matter - so very handy to lots of activities.
Room was spacious with a large and well appointed bathroom and double bath. Patrons were lovely too.
Highly recommended.

Very comfortable and quiet well appointed rooms and the customer service was excellent.
Everything provided (glasses, toiletries etc) was above average and the living area was very roomy and homely. Nice ambience
Possibly the nicest motel we have stayed in.
