It's a cheap hotel between the airport and the city, at KÅbánya-Kispest metro station, 20-30 minutes ride from City centre attractions.
The room was very warm, but no carpet and the tiles were cold for my feet, they should provide slippers or put carpets in the room.
The breakfast was Ok.

The hotel is nice, cleaned and well furnished. Rooms are big, with a great TV, confortable beds and a great bathroom. The men and the ladies at reception were always kind and helpful. Breakfast various and very good. Really close to the blue metro line. Easy to reach by car and offers a safe parking place. The hotel value is much more than the price it costs. We stayed absolutely well. I will return. Higly recommended!

I stayed in hotel Chesscom for 3 nights between December and January.
It's a 2 stars hotel that, in my opinion, deserves at least another star.
Hotel crew is kind and helpful for everything you may need, for example I asked a lot of information to the receptionist about where to eat, which metro or bus take (metro station is at about 50 meters from the hotel) and where to park and she was always ready to answer.
Rooms are clean and big and the same could be said for the bathroom.
It is possible to add a buffet breakfast to your stay and I found it really good.
The only thing I didn't completely like was the room temperature, a bit too hot.
In conclusion, I suggest you to stay here.

we stayed here for two nights, it was very convenient to get to the city center with metro lineM3 (Kobanya Kispest )just a few hundred meters away,and very big shopping mall with tesco store. breakfast was sufficient,but could be better. the staff was very nice and helpful. another plus was the private parking. the only thing that was very dissapointing were the budget rooms.they are placed at the back of the hotel, pass the coridor with steps and turns(you almost get lost :) and they have smell of damp,(we rather didnt put our clothes in the closet),and cigarettes,although we booked a non smoking rooms,very old furniture and stained carpet and chairs.but the sheets and towels were clean. so if you are staying in the Chesscom hotel dont go for the budget rooms..

I chose this hotel due to its closeness to Budapest airport. Indeed, the route from BUD to Koki metro terminal was very quick (i took E200 bus). Hotel itself is modest, but clean and comfortable enough, which is totally goes with the small price per room.
