My train arrived at Shin-Osaka and with a transfer to the subway and a change at Hommachi I was there quite quickly. Like so many places reception is on the 2nd floor, it's efficient and friendly. I was on the tenth, so were the steel fabricators on the new building going up next door, rather them than me.
It is a little worn out, but it's got a laundry room and vending machines, there is breakfast but you need to pay at the desk and get a voucher. Surprisingly there is a tepanyaki restaurant attached and it was busy but if you're a business man on expenses why not.
Around the area it's very quiet but the draw is access to a nearby subway.

This hotel is in a good location, about a 15 minute walk from the Dotonbori and a few minutes from the subway. The hotel itself is clean but very tired looking, there were stains on the carpet and a bit of mould in the bathroom but all in all, it served it's purpose. We did try to upgrade our room but there was no availability. Staff are very pleasant and friendly. Would recommend this hotel if you're on a budget and want to be close to all the action of Osaka.

Typical Japanese budget hotel: small size room but very clean and with all room's & bathroom's amenities you may need. Good room's rate especially considering the hotel's location: very close to train station, 15 minutes by foot far from Dotonbori district and surrounded by restaurants (also open 24/7).
Breakfast was not included in the room's rate, but it was very cheap, I tried it and I was satisfied with it: Japanese typical meal with fresh & yummy ingredients. I enjoyed it very much!
The Hotel's staff was okay, even though upon my check-out they were not able to call a taxi for me and I had to walk along the street in the rain looking for one....this was very disappointing but it's the only negative comment about this hotel.
I do recommend this hotel, especially if you are on a budget.

The hotel is fairly conveniently located, about a 15 minute walk from the phenomenal Dotonbori which meant we could go there whenever we wanted to but were not disturbed by the bright lights and business when we needed to rest. Not far from the stations either, which was good. The hotel rooms are small but this is to be expected in Japan. It was exactly what we needed whilst visiting this fantastic city.

This was our first experience with Japan and it was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. While the rooms/bathrooms are rather small, they were enough for a place to sleep! Super handy to Shinsaibashi and Sakaisuji stations and walking distance to the Dotonbori district. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and they were helpful with English!
