The location of the hotel was amazing.. The food and the services was great. the staff are very polite and friendly each and everyone of them.. and at evening we had a camp fire with music which made us relaxed and the views from the room was fantastic.. Amenities provided were Heater, Microwave oven, mini refrigerator and as usual TV and AC. All were within 2500/day. Overall a great experience with a low price ... I'll recommend this hotel to all for a very pleasant stay...

POORLY MAINTAINED OLD RESORT WITH IRRESPONSIBLE STAFF.

Rooms & toilet lack cleanliness. Poorly maintained resort. Most of the electronic equipments are not functioning and they are like mere show pieces.Nobody is there to attend our complaints. Staff including restaurant staff are totally irresponsible. Food served was somewhat OK. Not a professionally managed one. Rooms are not secure. Our 1 day stay was a horrible experience.

We stayed over the republic day weekend. Stay was just not worth the money. I wish they had a team which was more understanding of customer needs. The restaurant takes forever to do room service. They dont have an intercom number. The parking requires an expert driver. The signal for mobile (Airtel) is just so bad. They need to install boosters.
Overall,
Very okayish.

Let me start with good things first, since there were very few and easy to list :
1. In an excellent location , almost walking distance from the lake and in the middle of the city
2. Huge rooms with decent view
3. First days buffet breakfast was good

Now to list the hugeeee set of cons :
1. We had booked 2 rooms, one room had no A.C working (although we paid for ac room) . They promised to fix it at least for second day stay , but did nothing about it
2.Dinner / lunch menu they offer is extremely expensive and tastes pathetic. They have a 10% service charge to deliver in the room , they took an hour to deliver with half the items missing from what we ordered(although a part of it was still added in the bill). When we went to the restaurant to ask about it waiter claims we didn’t order it at all (then how it came in the bill is a million dollar question)
3. The lady managing all of it in restaurant doesn’t know Tamil and talks to the workers in English and they don’t understand English. So great sync in terms of managing there !!!!
4. Parking option is horrible.. the slope is extremely difficult to park on and they don’t even provide valet parking option even in such horrible slope.
5. They charged our card inr 10148 instead of inr 1148 for food. We had to notice and then wasted more than an hour because of it . We’re still crossing our fingers that we get our money back.
6. When after all this , we shared this feedback to manager, he wasn’t even being apologetic about the whole thing . Such attitude in a customer service business is extremely disappointing.

If you do notice closely( which we overlooked because of overall ratings ) a lot of recent reviews have been bad . Overall the place did not meet our expectations

Nice view & location but poorly maintained property

While the location and view was great with decent parking space, the property was poorly maintained. We faced issues with terrace doors (which could never be closed completely), leaky roof and electric fixtures. And strangely enough issues were exactly the same with both the luxury rooms we booked.

The property had no inter-com facility, so each time we wanted to order some thing, we had to make a call from our mobile phones, which was little strange and annoying too at times.

However, the staff were responsive and helpful too. Overall an average experience.
