Friendly staff, great restaurants! I found the room very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating for all requests. It is a beautiful place and is very conveniently located for catching the trolley or the train. Just a few stops from many of the major sites. The room was quiet (except for New Years Eve) which is celebrated all over with fireworks in the streets!

We arrived in Budapest late and didnât arrive at the hotel until gone midnight. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained our room and all the services quickly and gave a recommendation for a bar that would still be serving as we wanted a nightcap ( Trap turn left out of hotel 2 mins walk , great place cheap beer and good vibe).
We had booked an executive room because the added extras seemed more than worth it and we werenât wrong.
The Executive Club gives you access to all day snacks hot and cold drinks and alcohol. Great to visit after a long day walking the city or before and after dinner.
We used the spa and the girls were very friendly and helpful. I had a deep tissue massage and itâs probably the best Iâve ever had.
Overall I canât recommend this beautiful hotel and all of its staff enough. Well done to all of you and keep up the good work, we will definitely be back.

Situated on a main thoroughfare with tramline and close to the Octokon M1 Metro Station the location is ideal to access the sights and sounds of Budapest either on foot or using public transport.
The renaissance facade hints at the grandeur and opulence inside. Marble pillars and flooring abound and a huge central atrium with feature staircase dominates the ground floor public space. This is a well presented and very well run establishment that caters for every type of visitor and has all the facilities expected of a very high class city hotel and conference venue.
The basement spa is a haven of peace and tranquility and the Executive Club on the mezzanine is worth the extra cost as it provides free refreshments, food and drinks most of the day to those having access.
There are various bars and restaurants to choose from but dining in can add considerably to the cost of your stay particularly when there are so many excellent and reasonably priced cafes, restaurants and wine bars nearby. The excellent staff are multi lingual but English is routinely spoken by all and service provided is a match for some of the very best City hotels in Europe.
Breakfast in the main restaurant atrium or dining room is a leisurely relaxed experience with a great choice from the buffet. Standard rooms have every facility but a wide range of accommodation is available including the grandest of suites.
This is an imposing and very grand hotel truly reflective of a bygone era but with all the trappings of modernity and an excellent spa so very few would not enjoy their stay over. The downside for some may be that the hotel is so good it is also a preferred venue for conferences and corporate events so check what if any events are scheduled when you book. As always good deals are available particularly out of season as even the best hotels like to keep occupancy rates stable, so shop around booking sites or contact the hotel direct to get best available seasonal rates or guest packages.

A beautiful lobby and friendly, helpful staff.
Room well appointed and impeccably clean. The location is central with shops, bars and restaurants all around.
A flavour of the Hungarian Empire in this character filled, restored architectural gem.

I genuinely thought we had turned up to the wrong hotel when i arrived for the price i paid. The interior of this hotel is absolutely stunning!! The staff are great and very helpful, they will go out of their way to do anything for you. The rooms are large and spacious, great bathroom and very very clean!
The location was perfect for me and my fiancee. About a 15 minute walk down the Danube, plenty of pubs and places to eat on route with lovely buildings all around. The only downfall was the noise from the trams outside at night or the passing ambulance.
The bar prices are slightly OTT aswell for a drink, i would never pay the equivalent to £6 for 400ml of lager.
Will definitely stay here next time i book budapest!
