We stayed in a studio unit for two nights. The room was clean, spacious and extremely quiet. The complex is on a busy road, and it appeared that the complex was fully booked. We were in an upstairs studio, with a spa bath (while the location in the room is a little different, I enjoyed a cool spa, since it was extremely warm outside, and being able to watch TV and talk to my husband while relaxing in the spa). We could hear very little road noise, and no noise from any other unit, even though there were obviously children in the unit below us. Parking was just outside our door, but due to the location we could walk to pretty much anywhere in town that we wanted to go. We were more than impressed, and would happily stay here again, and would recommend it to any of our friends.

Great location, beautiful room, clean and facilities were excellent. Very centrally located across from supermarket and mall. Walking distance to movie theatre and many pubs and restaurants. Very quiet although on a busy corner, did not hear the traffic. Wonderful heat pump!

What a shame. Nice motel, very clean, private balcony and within walking distance from the square BUT
We had booked for 2 nights for a relaxing few days away to spoil ourselves. We arrived at 1.40pm on the Friday but the room wasn't ready ( fair enough we had arrived 20 mins early) parked the car and walked downtown. The next day, Saturday the only full day in Palmerston North, the room was not serviced until 3.15pm. Every time we came back to an unserviced room felt we couldn't relax thinking they will be servicing it at anytime. Mentioned it to the lady in the office. Who shrugged it off, and said they never service rooms until they have done the cleaning of the ones to let. Their brochure says servicing will be done between 10-2pm. The lady, who I presume was the owner, was not at all apologetic and didn't seem to care too much. Have stayed in many motels throughout the country and all have been serviced by midday. As I said what a shame

We found this Motel online, great spot for a start !!
Accomodation was spacious and tidy, good value for money for 2 Adults and 3 small children. It is easy walk to the square for restaurants, and the plaza shopping centre is straight across the road

This is a great little motel, with very generously sized rooms. The service was warm and friendly (complimentary wine or beer on arrival!). I stayed in the spa suite, which was very nice although the spa is pretty much in the middle of the room which I found a little weird, but fine. I wasn't so interested in the spa, but wanted to stay on the first floor with a balcony. It was quite cold though, so didn't spend much time sitting outside. The motel is quite well located and central, and an easy spot to start a gentle 5km run. Breakfast the next day was good - a proper full english with the works.
