This is one of the best motel type properties which I have ever stayed in. We hired the five units for between three and five days for a wedding group bridesmaids and families. Set in extensive grounds the property includes animals to pet in the paddocks and a lovely swimming pool. The units were spotless with very comfy beds. The owners were wonderful helping out with a few last minute details and advice. The units are close to the village of Havelock North itself with a huge number of cafes close by . Highly recommended.

Our whole family stayed here in a mix of cottages, studio unit and the lodge. The communal areas were excellent and kept the children well occupied, the pool being particularly well used.
Each family had their own space to retreat to which was ideal.
We particularly liked cottage 1 which is set a little apart and surrounded by a good stretch of lawn ideal for a cricket pitch
In summary, we would return to St Andrews as a family group but not as just a couple as the set up is more suited to this.

This is an amazing place to stay. Kate and Di are so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The accommodation was top rate and we loved the open spaces, basket ball, tennis, spa, pool - thank you so much. We will be back again soon!

Another repeat visit, another great holiday week.
If you have kids this is the place to stay - lots of open spaces, they can play and ride their bikes in safety not to mention the playground and awesome pool.
Even better if you add in the experience for city kids to interact with friendly animals...the ability to pet, pat and feed lambs, goats, pigs and ponies is fantastic - even got to do a bit of horse whispering :)
For the adults at the end of the day, sitting on the deck with a glass of vino just tops everything off as you watch the sun go down in tranquility.

We found this place by accident and what a happy accident it turned out to be. N arrival met by Di who made us feel valued visitors to their family home. A perfect little self-contained studio in the quietest area we have ever stayed in - sublime. Clearly geared towards families with its cottages we recommend this very highly. Lovely swimming pool and grounds, the animals on site just add to the atmosphere. A short walk to Havelock North with its boutique shops and bars, an even shorter drive to Hastings and the Hastings Club is definitely worth a visit. Waimarama Beach with its golden sands and waves suitable for surfers and swimmers alike is simply gorgeous.
We would definitely come back again if we get the chance
