We had an amazing stay with the great customer service we experienced from Nancy Lillian,Winnie,Solomon, Othis Amos,The lady and gentleman at the gate canât truly remember there name.They are a true spectacular gems & treasure to the property.They were always willing to assist to ensure our needs were met.

We feel that the property is beautiful n we can suggest that perhaps a restaurant in the beach will be great as it is privately owned.

Cowrie shell beach apartment gave me the privilege of staying in an ocean view beach apartment with the experience of home made food. Its situated in a quiet environment that gives you the opportunity of stealing a view of the beautiful ocean. Its well furnished to accommodate your needs in a home setting. The kitchen is well equipped for your everyday cooking and the rooms are quite large to tinkle your fancy. If there is a place to visit for your home away from home, then it is Cowrie Shell Beach Apartment

I stayed at Cowrie Shell for two months. We agreed on a monthly rate ex electricity. The starting meter number were never shown upon check-in (my stupidity). After checking out I was presented an electricity bill of Kes 54000 which is a ripoff. BE AWARE. The wifi is on/off. If you consider this place be sure that every little detail is agreed upon - if not you will for pay big time.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The check-in procedure on arrival was very efficient and majority of the staff members are affable and helpful.
We were lucky to book Apartment No. E21, which was super spacious, and you can tell that the owner had invested in making the apartment very comfortable. This apartment had a freestanding bath and shower in the master bedroom, a huge TV in the living room, and a massage chair which was a pleasant surprise.
The apartment had a well maintained kitchen, which was fully kitted - however the microwave did not work the entire time despite reporting the same and we could see from other reviews that other traveler's had already raised this issue to the owner to no avail; and only one of the three showers in the apartment had hot water. The living room and master bedroom lead out to separate balconies, allowing you to drink in the setting sun with a drink in hand.
The apartments sit on a section of the beach that does not have too many beach-boys/tour operators, so it was fairly private for sunbathing/lounging on the beach. The apartments are about 10 minutes drive away from the shopping malls in Nyali, so its easy to stock up on supplies, and if you walk on the beach for about 20 minutes, you can access Yuls Restaurant Aquadrom and White Sands Hotel for water sports such as jet skiing, wind surfing and snorkeling.
The restaurant based at the apartments does not have the best food, so do not plan to have many of your meals there. The management has a silly rule that you cannot enjoy your own drinks or snacks outside your apartment, including on the beach if you want to use their sun beds. They enforce this rule through some rude waitresses - so consider yourself warned.

Good location and very clean. Friendly staff especially Kate the reception was very helpful.i liked my room,hot water,wi-fi perfect,food at sulisuli,a two min walk to the beach. However the elevator was a big issue,not working.
