From the moment of my arrival, the sound of waves and salt air awashed my senses at the steps of Cul Erg House. Both JJ and Marie made me feel instantly welcome. My room had a lovely view out the front window with the most comfortable bed ! The room was heated comfortably and the bathroom had everything I needed to feel refreshed each day. Morning breakfasts were a variety of yogurt, granola, fruit, juice, coffee and the delicious home cooked eggs / scones by Marie. The BnB is conveniently located by the Promenade with the shops and restaurants, but also just a few short steps from the sea. I very much recommend staying at Cul Erg House. My plan is to return again and again .

Mum and I spent 5 days in Portstewart in early-mid December visiting family and friends, and again stayed at the Cul Erg as there really isn't anywhere to beat it. JJ and Marie are a great couple, high entertaining (yes, that's JJ!), incredibly friendly and down to earth. Due to the way that they have welcomed us into their home over the past 5 years we think of them as friends. So, if you want to stay somewhere in Portstewart that has the perfect hosts, facilities and location, then Cul Erg is the place to be.

We stayed here again because our fist visit in February was so perfect and we were not disappointed. The standards are as perfect as ever and JJ and Marie are brilliant hosts. A cosy, lovely spot to stay in even out of season in December. Thanks for a lovely welcoming visit to your b&b

I stayed here with my wife for a few days and we had a fantastic time. They have cosy, clean, and quiet rooms, just a couple of minutes walk from the main street, with the nicest owners we've ever come accross. JJ is a legend and gave us some great advice about the local tourist spots, while Marie's breakfast is one of the best breakfasts we've ever had, and we still talk about it to this day. If I ever decided to open a BnB I would want it to be just like theirs! It's the perfect place to on the North coast.

Our second visit to B&B JJ and Marie are great hosts a lovely warm welcome. Breakfast was delicious plenty of choices. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere nothing too much trouble. Thank you JJ for map of Belfast and directions we had a great day. Well worth a visit an excellent B&B.
