I did enjoy the visit to Cybele Hill Resorts. The owners were very understanding and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The staff were very responsive and oh the view from the top is great. Also enjoyed a nice trek, the resort has a nice trekking route.

31st Dec 2017.. Went for new year celebration.. The location is just amazing, great view from the deluxe cottage. Stayed in a glass house which is also super.
Mr Mathew is great person(The Owner) and Mr Shinto who helped us whatever we needed during the stay. Stay for atleast 2 days to enjoy and relax. Food variety is less but its good whatever they are serving. You can trek to the top of the hill from the resort and climb a rock you can have spectacular view.

We spent a night during our December holidays. Found this place from the Kerala border RTO office. The owner Mr Mathew is very helpful and caring. View is amazing. Great support staff. Overall a great experience

We found this resort just by chance, and what a lovely place it turned out to be! You need to park your vehicle in theor office at the foothill and climb up in their jeep. The 2.5km uphill journey is nothimg less than an adventure!
It has a majestic view of the hills and beautiful rooms. We had a bamboo cottage, very earthy and spacious. The service was courteous and food was decent. But what made the place stand out was the thoughtfulness and helping nature of the owner Mr Matthew. We had a medical emergency post midnight and Mr. Matthew personally took us to the hospital and brought us back. It was certainly not the way he would have planned to spend his Christmas eve, but as it turned out, he chose to be a good Samaritan and lend a helping hand, all the while with a smile.
I would recommend this place for a peaceful and quiet vacation with family.... and if you are in a group, they can arrange a bonfire and barbeque too for a memorable evening under the stars!

Cons
1. Not value for amount you pay.
2. Rooms are not very well maintained. Tree House needs an improvement. No ventilation in the rooms (mosquito nets are absent).
3. No amenities at the resort apart from TV. Wifi connection is poor and available only near dinner area.
4. The resort base area is 2.4 kms from Muttil market area and the actual resort is 2 kms from the base. Hence it is very difficult to move in and out of the resort.
5. Food is very bad if you are not from south india. The quality, as well as taste is not upto the mark.
