Hostel has a very wide sofa in center. Everybody especially group of people are meeting in this area. Rooms are good. Kitchen is also enough to cook, eat and rest. Hostel is not so centered to go by walk especially to Buda side of Budapest.
Reasonable to stay.

Best hostel for people traveling on a budget. Nice atmosphere and very helpful and kind managers.
It was at the time of Sziget festival and all the hostels were full, but still they let me stay there and found a room for me.
I would definitely stay there again if I come to Budapest:)

This hostel is very well located, his staff is friendly and very flexible.
It is maybe a place to go with a group of friends and also if you want to meet people and party. We were there at the beginning of august, during the high season, and every night some people were in the communal area, which is a great place to stay! However it is also noisy, so don't go there if you are looking for calm, and go there for the warm atmosphere!

Granted great building but the courtyard also operates as a concrete echo chamber and any noise at all is amplified. Given that it is festival time with people coming in late..often drunk..the constant noise made it very difficult to sleep in our courtyard room,one time woken at 4 by people playing pIng pong time another time at 5 singing Le Marseillais. The staff though nice seemed to have no policy or interest in managing noise. Rooms also have no fans and you can't open doors or windows because of the noise. And finally weirdly no toilet paper provided. It was far from cheap and extremely uncomfortable. .avoid and if you go DON'T go for a courtyard room.

This place was amazing beside the history behind it(i would not spoil it,you will find it out)it is comfortable and close to the center.
Staff are helpfull and there is a lot to do.
I had a great time there.
