The Destiny Farm stay resort is located 23-28km from the town of Ooty, in a quiet place called Avalanche. Having said that , the resort itself is located in an extremely scenic place overlooking the Avalanche lake which is literally undisturbed and quiet.This is one resort with an exceptional view and you have to see it to believe it. So if you like to break off from the hustle and bustle & need a meditative or relaxing place; definitely go for it. It is as peaceful as a place could get. But if you are intend on exploring Ooty, opt for a place bit nearer to the town as the journey can be time consuming and tiring. The rooms are all clean and well equipped with Fireplace, Cookies, toiletries, and other amenities. The wash rooms are clean and room service is prompt. We were two families (Our Family and my parents) and opted for rooms next to each other which offered privacy as well as proximity. The rooms had individual balconies and great views. The food is good with continental/Italian cuisine/Tamilnadu dishes more delicious than north Indian dishes. The staff over here are so courteous they always welcome you with a smile and they are very helpful right from the kitchen staff to the managers to housekeeping all were good.Special thanks to Mahalakshmi who always greet the guests with great smile , always energetic and arranged a special Tamilnadu sambar(Don't remember the name) thru chef Subramani which we were craving to have that authentic tamilnadu style sambar .
Special thanks to Sujatha who removed all our stress thru good head massage. Please try Unwind SPA which is the best massage I ever received in my life. Worth trying.
Opt for Luxury room which are quite spacious and has a fire place which becomes handy when the weather is extremely cold.
My kids enjoyed all the activities like Horse riding, Fishing , Origami, Karaoke, Bonfire , dancing during night time where my little daughter enjoyed dancing with another corporate group (standard chartered)
Overall Destiny Farmstay was a relaxing and quiet experience.

If you have small kids then this is the perfect place to spend time. The people managing the property are very cordial and try to do their best t serve you. There are lot of animals like horses, cows, poultry, sheep etc. Best part is they provided access to these animals so kids can spend time with them and learn. There is no connectivity here which is a good thing so you end up spending time with yourself and family. There is a lake with provision to do a family picnic. They do not have licence to serve liquor so do carry your own stuff. Also the access to the place is not easy. They send big trucks to pick you up and there is a 2 KM stretch with no roads and a very bumpy ride which I will not recommend for v old people. Food was OK but then I am comparing it to other Little Earth Properties (King's Cliff and Sherlock) where i have stayed and which have served excellent food. SO some room for improvement there.
The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Will definitely go there again.

If you want to experience Serene Location, Picture postcard beauty in a cosy stay then you must visit Destiny Farm Stay. In every aspect you'll like the place. There is an active farm inside the property with a Cow Shed, Horse Ranch, Sheep, Hens and Ducks, they produce most of their kitchen needs and sells the surplus to the market. You'll be packed with a lot of activities, it's your choice to stay relaxed and unwind in nature or experience adrenaline rush through adventure activities or experience trekking, tractor ride, (go) fishing etc. property is set amidst the canvas of nature. Every staff is courteous and helpful. Do enjoy the spa facility which comes with the package, do enjoy that, from Jacuzzi you'll experience a spectacular view, don't miss it, must see. Enjoy the Bliss.
Need to mention Mahalakshmi from the Reception, she'd become a friend for my tiny tot daughter who's just 4 years old. and Sanjay from Operations.

We stayed in a couple suite for 2 days and the stay was amazing with nature friendly atmosphere.
The main highlight is the natural ambiance and the way it is maintained.
Food option was superb as mostly they use the farm fresh items from there entity only.

We visited Distney Farm for our annual December vacations.
I must say it is a beautiful place to unwind. Amidst nature it takes you to another world.
Activities at the Farm are very good . We did Zip line, rack climbing and also went for a jungle trek.
We were only two of us who wanted jungle trek . staff was very curteous to accept our request .They took only two of us . and they took us to al lthe hills we wanted to go and also to Emerald lake .
Jungle walk was one of our memorable part of this stay.
Even on th last day when we were coming back we requested for zip line and they accomodated it .
Very well behaved staff.
Kids enjoyed horse riding (even we adults did:-) , playing in the play area, the vegetable carving , towel are and bon fire .
Kids did glass painting as well . The lady was very good and she taught the kids well
We opted for buffet food which had variety of spreads.Food was tasty.
My daughter even now keeps asking when are we going back to Destiny farm.
I must say staff made our stay very memorable .
On the way back we spotted a wild deer also . .which was a added attraction :-)
