Alright so we made it to this hotel on the first day and it was beautiful. The view from the lobby and dinning area is phenominal and breath taking. The rooms are nice but the service of the hotel is a bit slack. No network and the WiFi does not connect sometimes.

Stayed at Devonshire Greens in December 2017. Most of the rooms are facing valley. However, if you are staying at 2nd or 3rd levels, the view is restricted with tress. Overall a good Hotel, located before Munnar on Kochi-Munnar road. Need to go bit off-road to reach there. Bit secluded, but with nice view of hills and Attukad waterfall. Food was good and restaurant has valley view. Staff was courteous.
Rooms do not have AC. On inquiry, staff informed as the weather in Minnar is cool round the year, there is no need for AC. I have my doubts in summer, how cool it will be in Munnar.
We stayed at 2nd level room, where high windows had nice breeze coming through, but windows were without and safety grill. Not to doubt about Hotel safety, but one doesnât keep windows without safety grill open at night while sleeping, that to at a new place.

Arrived at Devonshire Greens after the drive from Cochin -- the setting amongst the tea plantations was so calming! We were assigned a room that only had stair access and needed one with an elevator. Management accommodated our request. Our room was upgraded to one with a balcony ... thank you! Food was very good and wished we could have stayed more than one night!

Located in calm and quite Valley amidst green tea fields and green mountains. Though the location is wonderful, only problem with the location is, that it is almost 1 km downside the Highway, and 6 km away from Munnar. Those not having their own vehicle may face problems, as Hotel sends jeep/car quite late, or in some cases not send the transport for benefit of waiting travellers. This may cause hardship to Senior citizens in particular and to all generally. Hotel is clean and calm, food also is very good and service is also above average. Recommend to those who are physically fit, or with their own conveyance.
