As I titled my review..this place is literally amidst nature.... they have 1 tree house, 2 premium tents and 2 normal tents... that is it..only 5 rooms..but the facility provided is outstanding.... first of all, you should be nature lover.... now I will quote some awesome points about the resort :
1. The cab parking is like only 500 meters away from the hotel desk, but from hotel desk to rooms, you have to cross a river bridge, a climb a road that goes along a mountain that is just next to the hotel desk. First time when you climb it , you may not enjoy it, but with all the natural trees and sounds of waterfall and birds , you will start loving this place.
2. The food served by the resort's restaurant is really amazing. Also if you need something else then served on buffet , then you can ask (my wife asked for a cold coffee and they gave it :))
3. The waterfall is right next to you . right next to hotel desk... I mean you have a mountain, a water bridge and waterfall..that means all natural things at one place.....
4. the view from tree house and tents is really mesmerizing in the day time. At night it gets a little cold specially for people living in pune, bombay , bangalore etc.
5. At night , the whole path from hotel desk to the rooms is well lit and you can get beautiful pictures even at night.
Having said that , it is must visit resort :)

My wife and I stayed at this place for a day during the Republic Day and both of us wished if only we could continue our stay for a day more. The location is beautiful. You have everything that you need for the definition "Nature Retreat"; A beautiful stream, hilly terrain, feeling of being amidst a forest.
The staff is great and extremely humble

Situated in middle of no where, one of the best places for couples. There are only 5 rooms scattered around the jungle on a sort of mountain. There is quite a bit of walking up and down the hill for coffee , food etc since they do not have room service.
Local Transport to the place is not great, better hire a car or drive down.

There were around 5 places to stay inside cardamom estate, in which one of them was a tree house. We stayed on the topmost area of the tent where we could hear the sound of waterfalls which gives a real feel that we are staying inside a forest. Their breakfast and dinner was excellent. Moreover, the staffs were well supportive. I would recommend this place to everyone to give a try.

The stay at Ela Ecoland was great , surroundings were serene and peaceful. Food was good, staff was supportive , activities like Rafting was really nice. Connectivity was a concern, wifi should be there at the accomodation rather than only at Reception.
