My wife and I stayed for three nights bed and breakfast. We ate once in the restaurant ordering the Table d'hote menu. The food was nicely cooked, the three courses were competitively priced and the wine list very reasonable.
Our room was large and well equipped. Wifi was slow as was hot water but it arrived eventually. The shower head was tiny and really should be changed. The radiators could not be regulated as the valves were faulty, so the room was very hot even with a window ajar. The main light dimmer had a mind of its own but it was repaired promptly.
The staff were excellent and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good with a hot table.

The hotel is light and spacious a lovely relaxing area,and nice breakfast room, The town has lots of history.This hotel is great for family get togethers and weddings,It host a Hall on the side with a bar great for live music for those who want to bring the BAND !!! The double room I stayed in was very large, with a bathroom, only thing was the wind blow up through the over flow, was a bit chilly in the bath, but apaert from that nice room.

Looks very nice from outside. Very clean, fresh, friendly inside. Disabled room very spacious and clean. Food delicious and a great price. 3 Course £14.95. turn over back of main menus to find it. Everything perfect.

This hotel is a good location and base however it is situated on a very busy road and doesnât have double glazing. There is ample parking which is very safe as after a certain time the main gates are locked but they are electronic so no issues on access. The staff are really friendly and Cindy the manager could not have been nicer nothing was any trouble to them. The food is very reasonably priced and is of a good standard. The breakfast is very good and plenty off it but the coffee could be a little hotter.

Booked for my Mums birthday , food was tasty and reasonably priced. Not vast quantities but lovely meal. Service was pleasant and informative and quick. Lacking in atmosphere would be my only criticism.
