Came with a group of people.place is big but no proper coordination. For day guests need to take token in advance for all including swimming pool.no token counter at swimming pool.food is good. Malgoa sweet was good.

Good Service - some facilities required effective maintainence prpgram. Overall a Very Good location and facilities. The buggy transport services is awesome. Very police and friendly staff. House keeping can be Improved - Quality of line n cleaning of rooms.

For Pongal week end one day trip, we choose Esthell village resort as per my friends suggestion, and booked thru agoda. Price is quite high like accomodation at singapore.
The fine morning we started , around 9.45 am after breakfast, when our car reaches ECR, itself, the board of Esthell resorts started welcome us. Past mahabalipuram area, after few kilometers, right side Great lakes institute of management is there 2nd right of the institute, take right in to Anupuram atomic township area, nice, calm, secured, well maintained area to cross about 1 KM, there by we reach Statehighway 58, and take right towards Thirukalukundram, after few kilometers, we found Esthell resort on the right side, in a coconut tree grove, stone paved pathway, we have ample car parking area, and next to that reception, we reach at 11AM, after a brief waiting, they informed that we could check in at 12 noon only, till then we can pass time at Indoor games, so we had a walk inside the vast property and had some fun at Basket ball and shuttle cock.
After 12 Noon check at room by travelling in battery car inside the premises, clean, trendy, comfortable room with satelite tv, locker, mini fridge, drier, hot water round the clock, centralized ac etc.,
For lunch again by battery car to the restaurant inside and had a tummy full buffet, After noon 3 to 5 we had a lovely time in the swimming pool.
Around 6.30 pm call from reception to join for pongal celebrations at the lawn near reception and send the battery car.
Lawn decorated with lights, and pongal celebrations with karagattam, thappattam etc
Next day morning after a brief time in swimming pool, and buffet breakfast at 9.30, had good variety of south indian breakfast.
By 11.45 checked out and left the resort with sweet memories

Stayed here during the last days of 2017, and this place is truly a gem.
Stayed in 2 premium rooms for 2 days. Rooms were very spacious with proper sit out amidst the trees. The whole place is situated in a vast area with reception and restaurant on the one end and the cottages on the other end, with all the activity areas in between. you need to call for a electric buggy to get yourself from room to dining.
Kids swimming pool has a nice theme like a mini theme park. Zorbing was not working. We tried ATV bike, cycling, video games... most activities are nominally charged which is fair enough. Enough space all around to walk around or chill.
What struck most was, the service was always at hand, whether at restaurant, activities, reception, pool, buggies: I've never seen such a helpful bunch of workers always eager to help.
Food was good enough for vegetarians.
Would have given 5-stars except:
- pool can be kept cleaner.
- room service or going to restaurant takes lots of time as you have to call buggy and wait for that.
- wifi was not strong enough in our rooms, may be it was at the far corner...

A good resort for weekend getaway to have enjoyable family time peacefully and away from chores of city. Lot of games, activities are available for kids. Food is also decent. Tariff is slightly on higher side.
