the rooms are as appartment and good confort (bathroom not so modern) but tube and shower.

On a business trip and checked into hotel with minimal fuss. A decent comfortable bed size (Queen plus) and clean linen. A variety of TV channels to keep you entertained. Free Wi-Fi, but struggled to connect initially. In room security box - also struggled to get it working - but was more to failing to follow instructions clearly. Not much of a view from rooms - so don't get too excited - but rather get out to view the city. Lovely restaurant to choose from in the area...tried the Barbacao, excellent meat dishes. Breakfast served downstairs - set menu but a good variety.

The Hotel Etoile Itaim (Georges V) is exceptional, both in terms of accommodation and services (including butler services!). All apartments are fairly spacious, comfortable (king size beds, closets) and well equipped suites with full kitchens. The hotel also has a swimming pool, sauna and fitness room on the top floor. A single snag is the breakfast: despite offering three alternative menus, the breakfast is still a little bit disappointing. In short, this is a wonderful lodging option in São Paulo.

I recently travelled to Sao Paulo and stayed at the Etoile Hotels Itaim. What compels me to write about my experience? Well ....
... I finally found a comfortable hotel bed!
... the room was not claustraphobic, and was certainly hospitable.
... the hotel was in a quiet area, although very close to restaurants/cafes--and I never held fears for my safety.
... the breakfast suited my tastes (and was served promptly, despite my awful attempts at ordering in the Brazilian Portuguese language).
... the lobby staff were always warm and helpful.
I really could not have asked for more. Real value for money; certainly a pleasant experience.

I've stayed in at least 4 different hotels before, in this area of Itaim, as I think it's the best area to stay when in São Paulo, as you can go walking everywhere. Etoile is the best, by far. Breakfast is excellent and very well served (not buffet). A large variety of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orang juice, delicious hot pão de queijo and mini French baguettes, cold cuts, cheese, expresso coffee. All included in the price. The room is a very clean suite, with a comfortable living room and kitchen, and a bedroom with a huge walk-in closet and a large and bright bathroom. Wi-Fi worked perfectly! The staff is always smiling and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and if I happen to go back to São Paulo, I surely will stay here again.
