Weekend in Alicante

This is a superb hotel in an ideal location.
From the airport, you can catch the local city bus, and in 20 minutes, your stop is directly across from the hotel. Also the stop you return to the airport from, as the bus is in a circular route.
Check in was excellent, I arrived about an hour early, but my room was ready, so was shown where the lifts were. I was on the 6th floor in room 616.
The bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom includes a bath and shower - my only grumble was that the water was lukewarm, never quite hot enough, I did mention this, but I'm guessing as no one else made any complaints, the water is normal temperature.
The TV has a good selection of channels, although only a few in English, mostly news channels.
There is a mini fridge, with a good selection of snacks - but no tea/coffee making facilities.
The wifi is good and strong throughout. The room comes with a safe.
The gym located on the 11th floor is tiny, there is a sauna, but I could find nowhere to store one's clothes.
Breakfast is from 0730 weekdays, and 0800 weekends - there is a very good range on offer - if you book directly with the hotel, it's free - if not 8 euro, which is good value anyway.
Everything is within walking distance, and so easy to get around.
The tram is only a few steps away, and line 1 will take to direct to Benidorm.
All in all, this is a perfectly placed hotel, which I will definetly return to.
The staff are attentive and professional.
Cosy, Close by & Convenient.

Perfectly situated hotel which is lovely and quiet at night and close by and very convenient as itâs approx a 5 min walk from the main shops, bars and restaurants etc,
Airport bus stop is directly across the road from this hotel.
You could get a bus which took us directly from the airport to this hotel, if your unsure where to get off itâs okay to ask the driver and he will easily let you know when to get off and itâs that easy. Where the bus stops you cross over to the other side of the road and you will see the hotel.
So thatâs getting to and from the airport to your hotel.
There are subway stations around and quiet close by too.
Itâs unexpectedly lively on the weekday evenings too apparently but really itâs always busy with partygoers and
Holiday makers, looking for a nice drink and a meal.
All different restaurants and bars to choose from, so food and drink shouldnât be a problem at all.
Approximately about 10 minutes walk to the lovely beachfront/port and the museum, they also have a castle too.
Perfect for a long weekend or City break we stayed for a long weekend and it was just perfect also the weather was lovely too,
Perfect for couples, and the hotel is very lovely and clean and is spacious, not a lot to fault really with this hotel to be honest,
Bathroom could do with a little spruce here and there but itâs just general wear and use. Thatâs all. Nothing majorly wrong with the rooms at all.
Theres a small gym/fitness room which is on the top floor.
Rooms are maintained very well, and they also have strong FREE Wi-fi too.
Staff are very polite and helpful and spoke perfect English to us.
A few hidden gems around this area so my advice would be to get up early and have a little stroll around and find your way and see which is busiest and more popular with the locals or visitors, but there are a few of these popular places to eat and drink as there are so many lovely spots to pick from.
Went in early July for a 3night stay and the weather was lovely.
If your driving there then There ARE parking places nearby too.
Mini fridge in the room and also air con.
Room service if you prefer too.
I didnât try the hotel breakfast that they offer for an extra 12 euros Per person as there are so many options and places to go out and choose from and will be cheeper too.
Such an easy and relaxing break away, I would easily come back to this hotel again if I stayed in this location of Alicante again.
Hope this helps thanks.
Completely disappointed, spoilt my holiday

I booked this hotel based on the reviews and the fact it was 4star. This hotel is more of a 3star hotel but with updated facilities and overall look. The bed is made from springs and hard, you can hear when another person upstairs flushed the toilette, when You have a shower somehow the floor gets soaked, and the room is cold.
Do not use the external coffee machine downstairs for 1Euro, itâs poor quality and the tiniest cup you have ever come across
I emailed the hotel twice from UK to ask if they could do an incentive for my husbands birthday at which they didnât respond or even acknowledge my request.
We stayed in room 312 where the Keycard doesnât work and the floor smells like sewage. Went to reception 3 times to eventually have someone come up and help us, to which he could just about do it!
Iâm appalled at this place and never again will I stay here. Very poor quality.
Superb location with bars ,restaurants on the door step and 5 minutes walk to the waterfront

Bedrooms are big and modern. We were on the 9th floor so sometimes there was a wait for the lift of which there are 2 but they are quite small. Breakfast was good with a great choice of food. The only downside is that if you have a car which we did , then there is nowhere to park to check in !! There is one space you can park in for 30 minutes and needless to say it was occupied so we landed up getting a parking ticket from a nasty cop who spoke no English. Parking is a problem in Alicante if you have a car and need to stop to check in and leave your luggage.
Excellent

We stayed 3 days in this very well placed hotel. It's a 10 min walk to the beach museums and castle. The air con needed repairing and was done very quickly, the feather pillows I requested arrived and the breakfast was as good as it gets!
The receptionists were all helpful and pleasant. In fact we kept noticing how happy the dining staff were despite being very busy.
Loved Alicante and the people.
