We booked this hotel for 9 nights End Jan 2018 (snap Travel) room only basis as we like to search out places for breakfast, lunch etc. the hotel only offers breakfast at a very reasonable â¬7.50pp. We got the room for â¬50/night which is really good deal, the room came with a balcony overlooking a side street which was ok and quiet. Great giant size comfy bed nice size room with mini bar and usual amenities. Overall a great stay at a reasonable price for a winter break. Cleaner serviced room every day and the staff all were great. No bar at this hotel but again the hotel were happy for us to bring back wine or food and sit on the top floor balcony overlooking town square, or eat in room.
They even have a small gym!!
Great value for a winter break.

The hotel is perfectly located downtown Alicante just a minutes walk to the beach, marina, and the main street for shopping. I had a perfect big room with a view to the plaza. And with double window that allowed for noise not to get in. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and with everything needed for a business trip. I surely will return when back in Alicante.

hotel was in picturesque square. Pharmacy and supermarket close by and in central location.
Easy check in and kettle can be accommodated if asked.
We had a room with open doors to small
Balcony.
The Gym was adequate and the terrace was a great place to relax and enjoy a cup
Of tea.
We didnât have breakfast.
Cleaning room was done after mid-day.
Pillows and bed were comfy and large.

Needed a break from the awful British cold winter so booked 4 days in Alicante staying at the Eurostars. The pictures and location looked great and we were not disappointed, very close to the old and new town and beach the location couldn't be better. We booked direct so got a great rate and early and late check in/out and free bottles of water for the whole of our stay which was great.
Our room on the 5th floor overlooked the side road which was fine but the daylight wasn't great and they only have one small lift so summer months will be a joy to try and fight for the lift. The room was spotless and roomy so no complaints there but the furniture was a little tired and the old Grundig TV on the wall was past its best.
The hotel doesn't have any Reception seating area or a Bar but they do have a roof terrace with a great view of the castle and a small Gym and Sauna. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special and certainly not 4* hotel standard (and I've stayed in a lot).
So all in all an enjoyable stay at the Eurostars but it is slipping well behind what normal 4* hotels offer and is expected so really no more than a 3* by any standards.
Tips: A must is to go to the La Guitarreria, Tablao Flamenco about 50yds away on the Calle Mayor â¬10 including a drink (bargain!). Do the Free Walking Tour meeting point 25yds away and a great insight into the history of Alicante.

The best feature of this hotel is its central location at the town hall square. You have walking distance to the seaside, to the old town and to the lift of the Santa Barbara castle. Ideal if you are travelling without a car.
The car park is 300 m away in a public car park. Before going to get your car out, take a bonus ticket from the hotel reception. We paid 19 ⬠for parking the car there for two days.
We had a couple of small special wishes which were promptly fulfilled.
The rooms on the town hall square side in the upper floors have a nice view onto the castle hill.
