OK, but definitely not special

We stayed at these partially-serviced apartments largely on the basis of price and site photos. Our apartment was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable, but sofa lounge was very much the opposite. Kitchen was adequate, but no toaster was provided. Free parking was available on the street. No restaurants near by so self-catering is a must unless you want a long walk or a fight with the city traffic.
The worse experience ever!!!

For it being my first holiday in my whole life it was my worse experience with alicante hills. The staff member was very very rude,we looked on booking.com for a 2 bedroom apartment as there was 4 adults and 2 children. There wasnt a 2 bedroom apartment apparently available so we booked 2 one bedroom apartments. When we came to check in the staff were not jolly and had a attitude problem. We went to the apartment to see that both apartments were 2 bedroom apartments each. We weren't happy with it because thats what we asked for,but only one bedroom apartment. We went to the reception and asked and straight away they gave attitude and one member of staff thought she was clever by saying she is the manager but she was lying, till she then realised we are going to take this serious she said she is the supervisor. We only asked for a refund because thats basically like putting money in the bin, we didnt use both 2 bedroom apartments, only the one. The SWIMMING pool wasnt on, the apartments were not full with different amenities whereas Sahara Sunset had outdoor and indoor pools and fully equipped with everything you need or expect in a apartment. The shower in aparthotel was cold and the doors were broken alongside with the cleaning of the apartment not being done. This hotel WAS VERY EXPENSIVE AND NOT WORTH THE STAY, BAD AND RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE, NOT FULLY EQUIPPED AND DAMAGED ITEMS.
If anybody knows how to get in contact with the manager please do let me know
Half term disappointment.....pool, restaurant and shop all closed. Beach not accessible by foot

Aparthotel spacious with comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, fridge freezer, microwave, cooker and washing machine. BUT Only one kettle or sharp knife between 2 apartments. Grandson bitterly disappointed as pool was closed. Restaurant and shop also closed so lived on takeaways. No nearby shops or restaurants and the Ibis across the road refused to serve us as we were not staying there. Sea/beach visible but you need to cross a 2 lane, very busy carriageway....climb over the central reservation....cross another 2 lanes of very busy traffic.....then climb a chain link fence onto rocks!!! Staff helpful and free wifi in all rooms but recommend only using this place as a base if you are hiring a car for beaches, shopping and eating.
Wouldnât recommend

5 of us Stayed in this apartment/hotel for 4 nights- not the best. Rooms were clean, sofa bed was very old and dirty that 3 of us slept on one double bed. No kettle provided and when asking the receptionist (Sarah) if we could have one she was very rude. Cleaner comes every morning for literally 2 mins - quick sweep and mop. Showers are very hot so check the temperature before getting in. Location is ok if you would like to be near the airport however city centre 20mins bus ride away. Located on a hill so quite tiring getting back to the apartment if you come back with a bus. Restaurant closed âfor restâ pool was also closed. In all honesty I wouldnât recommend this apartment for a holiday as its not near a beach or any restaurants.
Very basic, probably wouldn't stay again!

Stayed here for a short family break. The room we had was very spacious and clean, with a family bathroom and a seperate shower room. The kitchen had very little in, no kettle, and just 4 plates and bowls, a handful of cutlery and a couple of saucepans.
Very disappointing to get there and find that the pool was closed, and the restaurant was also closed 'for rest'. For a place that is purely a base for sleeping and showering its fine, just very basic.
Location of the apartments isn't great, its about 1.5 hours walk away, but at the bottom of hill there is a bus stop (you need to get the c-6) (if you're planning a few bus journeys then get a ticket, 10 journeys for â¬12, much cheaper than getting singles) thats about a 20minute ride away from the main centre of Alicante, which was lovely, a perfectly large and clean beach with lovely clear seas. Lots of restaurants to chose from and a marina to walk round too, offering some lovely views.
All in all Alicante was lovely and we had a great family break, just wouldnt stay the these apartments again.
