Very spacious tidy and rooms with lovely decor with lovely views of the Mara river with hippos. Polite and helpful staff. Great food and service. Our safari guide Anthony managed to show us all the big 5 in 2 hours!

This is an excellent place. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Youâre very well taken care of. The food is great as well. A special word for Dennis at the restaurant who took very good care of us. John was our safari guide and driver and was outstanding at his job. Wilfred at the reception was very helpful too.

This is a lovely hotel overlooking the Mara River. The tents are very solid and zip up completely for security from bugs. Furnishings are plush. The shower works well, and the amenities were very good. There is sufficient lighting, although not too many outlets for charging. The bed was excellent, as were the towels and bedding. And, of course, hot water bottles in the bed. The grounds are well kept and pretty, and the common areas are very comfortable. The food was superb, thanks to the guidance of Executive Chef Kalume. Outdoor buffet lunches were a highlight, and dinners were splendid, as well. Breakfasts were copious. Service was uniformly fine. I recommend this property wholeheartedly. The property is inside the Reserve, so game drives begin as soon as you drive off.
Excellent stay, excellent game drives

Been to Masai Mara a few times, and this was the BEST experience I have ever had! The hotel is very clean, very comfortable, and they think of all the luxury details. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful food selection and not all Kenyan or Indian foods like in some other hotels in the Mara. The 2 game drives per day that you get with your booking were excellent. We saw the Big 5 and much more within 24 hours of arriving. Our driver, Reuben, was most excellent. The conservancy has a much better animal population than the actual Masai Mara National Reserve. FYI - Your first night...you might not sleep much due to adjusting to all the night noise by hippos, bush babies, baboons, and more. The 2nd night, no problem sleeping! The Wifi is a bit sketchy and only in the bar / reception area of the hotel. PLEASE NOTE: Rooms are tents. Your neighbors will hear EVERY noise you make...and I mean EVERY NOISE.
One of the greatest experiences of my life

I had the pleasure to visit Mara Safari Club last week. The accomodations were lovely; which was totally unexpected considering the location of the hotel - out in the middle of the conservancy, very far from anything. The hotel staff made sure to go above any expectations and made sure all our needs were exceeded. The food was impressive too. We got a wake up call each morning with our choice of coffee, tea or hot chocolate brought to our room! The safari drives were much better than any reports I had heard. I highly recommend our driver - Jeremiah. He was very well educated about all the animals on the savannah, he knew their behavior and could "read" their surroundings. Because of his expertise and willingness to go above the call of duty- our group was able to see The Big 5! If you are comparing safari locales and hotels, do yourself the favor and choose this one. You will not regret it!
