Spent three nights here. Room was clean but basic. Continental breakfast buffet with eggs and bacon. About 10 minutes walk from the train station Brussels Midi. Very close to Lemonnier Metro station. A nice selection of restaurants close by. About 20 minutes walk to Grand Place. Seems to be average class residential area. Over all happy with the stay here.

I wouldn't stay here again. Yes, it's cheap and location to be near Brussels Midi is good, but room quality poor, miniscule lifts, electrical sockets falling off walls, wifi intermittent. A case of you get what you pay for.

Stayed here for one night before taking the Eurostar in the morning. Hotel is super close to Brussels-Midi (only 10â walk). Yes the hotel is tired and desperately needs a refurb but at the same time it was only â¬55 so what do you expect. Perfectly adequate for the needs of a one night place to crash.

We stayed for one night only.
The hotel is an old building with small cordidors. Interesting elevators with no inner door. You pay at check-in.
The window had a miss-closing henge and my husbag fixed it to stop the wind coming in. During the night the socket stoped functioning and our phones didn't charghed.
Breakfast without vegetables (no salad, no tomato, no...). Fruits: apple and orange.
Good things:
Luggage deposit with numbers. E.g
if you arrive earlyer than 3p.m, when you can't check in yet.
The price was 66eur/night - monday. The cheapest option for a semi-central hotel, next to a train/metro station.

Let me start with the good; the staff are exceptional, and the breakfast is great. HOWEVER, the rooms are extremely disappointing. The lobby and restaurant seem to have been refurbished, but it stopped there. Rooms are dilapidated and in dire state. My room had a broken wardrobe and a broken ac remote. The floor was sticky and there was a mouldy smell. The bathrooms are in a horrid state too and could definitely be revamped. There was only one power outlet in the room which was used by the heater so i had to charge my phone and laptop in the bathroom which remarkably had three.
The lift is also not child or guide-dog friendly since there is no fixed door on the lift just the rolling floor doors which can easily injure someone or worst.
The location is a-bit dodgy at night albeit close to centre.
I hope that the rooms are in the process of being refurbished since the ground floor seems to be brand new, if not I would avoid this location at all cost, especially for longish stays.
