Hello folks
I am currently staying at this hotel and as a traveller from the UK and a world traveller in general I have seen a good number of hotels.
This hotel is mix between Indian and Western. The staff are tentative and very polite. The room is clean but the sofa looks dated and in need of a change. For me thatâs not too much of an issue as Iâm not staying here enough. There are only a couple of things I need to mention.
If you have western taste buds breakfast here may not be to your liking. For me I found the choice a bit restrictive, but one has to consider the cultural side of the place that you are coming too.
The hot water does not get hot. I asked the maintenance chap to look at it and he told me thatâs as hot as it gets. To me it was a cold shower which may put some people off.
The bed is comfortable but I found the pillows way to soft and you feel like they are not there.
Traveling to Kolkata is 24km away and will cost you between 300-700rs + tolls. Please be aware that ola and uber donât service this part of the city apparently.
I have enjoyed my stay so far here itâs a long way from the airport and far enough away from the main road so itâs quite outside. My only noise issue was that last they played music very loud until 10.30 which is not good when you have jet lag and need to sleep.

We booked a suite, the room was exceptional, enjoyed our stay. The staff was courteous and the food was delicious. We were refreshed a good getaway from a bustling city. Highly recommend Fortune Park Panchwati... good job!

Staff was excellent and very courtesy. The customer satisfaction and comfort given was really awesome. The property is beautiful, landscape with side lawn and switch pool. Amazing venue -away from the crowd and pollution. Thank you so much for such excellent service. Keep up the good job.

Excellent property. Behaviour of staffs are awesome. Ambience is good. Interior of rooms and dining is just awesome. Room service and house keeping is also good. Swimming pool and outdoor ambience is excellent.
