Old hotel with run down furniture and fixtures. Bathrooms are dated. I will not call it 5 star standard hotel. Maybe in the line of 3 1/2 hotel. Room service is prompt. Ordered tea (priced at 5 star rates) couple of times in room service, and it was cold. Generally in high stared hotels tea room service tea is served with couple of cookies. Overall hotel was neat and clean. If you are planning to stay a night or so on a business trip then it is manageable.

Bad internet quality, limited options for the restaurant menu and no coffee expresso available even to buy. The clearness is good and the staff are also prompt to help. I found the taxi service provided by the hotel too expensive.

As this is a business Hotel, must improve in-room facilities that were earlier provided by Fortune. The bathrooms need a sprucing up for minor upkeep. The hotel has great breakfast and rooms are spacious and clean

Stayed at the hotel from 24-26 Oct as my usual Hotel from Office was not available. I chose Park Plaza looking at some reviews which stayed this was Fortune Inn earlier - I had stayed here in 2013 and overall experience was good.
Now, coming to current experience :-
Rooms - are pretty spacious and good. I clearly remember all those furniture from Fortune Inn days. The room has a good working table apart from a sofa and normal table - great features for someone who may want to stay long duration and/business trips.
Bathroom- has few areas to improve. Seems the fittings/showers have not been replaced/repaired for a while. Also, the water did not smell fine- not sure of the issue.
Travel time and Location- since I use Ola/Uber to travel to Office in Sholinganallur, was easy to find cabs from this location for a quick drive. There are also plenty shops nearby to eat nearby.
Food - breakfast was pretty decent. It would help if some more options could be added to make it better. Only surprising thing was they closed it at sharp 10:30 - was a bit convenient because we used to come pretty late night from work and reach just around 10:15 for breakfast.
