I stayed in 8 beds dormitory room but the room is very spacious and cozy. This hostel is a part of apartment so I could feel like staying at home. People are also very nice and I could get many information of tourist spots. Itâs located in the center so I could walk to Basilica or Heros square. Price is also very reasonable. I really enjoyed staying there.

Hostels in the UK tend to have a certain stigma to them, so I was wary of using one out in Budapest. That being said I was quickly converted when we got to the Hostel. The street-level door may seem a bit grotty (Not the fault of the hostel), but once you get up to the hostel itself, all that changes.
The staff made us feel truly welcome. They were amazing when we checked in, Amazing when we wanted to book tickets for the Baths, and Amazing when we couldn't get the oven to work.
We were in the classic wing which is in a separate area from the main reception. It had a fully functioning kitchen, and two fully kitted out bathrooms. We were aware of the whole "Taking your shoes off" before we got there so it wasn't a surprise and in fact made the whole place feel that bit more homely. it also meant you didn't have to worry about walking mud in etc.
The hostel is placed right on a central road which has a tram stop literally right outside. This is ideal for getting around the city but does also make for a rather large amount of road and city noise, but it wasn't unbearable (The local emergency services seem to ALWAYS use their sirens).
I can honestly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cheap and friendly place to stay. As a pair of students, we're very much used to sharing bathrooms etc so the shared facilities were no issue to us, but for some, it may pose a problem.
I guess my only quarrel is that some of the other guests potentially could cause a bit of noise. We had a few instances where people were cooking in the kitchen late at night (Even with signs saying not to due to the noise you make, that being said they were in English and not everyone may understand them). However, the hostel did have a whatsapp number so I'm sure if it was a major issue, someone would of come and dealt with it.

Our room was clean and so were the showers. The only issue was having to walk across the lounge area to go to the toilet, it wasnât ideal. Could easily walk to places from the hostel. Would stay here again.

Lovely staff, huge dormitory room at a really good price. Really clean and big bathrooms, and free tea and coffee in the kitchen. Great location near all the main attractions. Staff were really helpful printing things and keeping luggage after checkout for a small fee.
The only thing was it was a bit noisy near the main road, and no lock on the dorm door meant people from the private rooms in the apartment could've come in if they wanted, but not actually a problem as everyone was nice :)

I booked with my sisters a triple room with private bathroom and although we arrived much earlier than check in time, our room was ready, only to find out that it's not just room, it's an entire nice flat with a kitchen fully equipped, AC, and many other facilities. The flat wasn't in the same building and Christina, the very helpful and lovely young lady who checked us in, walked with us for like 10 minutes till we reached it. It was in a building near the opera that had no elevator so beware if you have many luggage. However, after we returned back to Budapest from a 3 week trip in Europe to catch our flat back home, Christina managed to check us in a private flat in the same hostel building that luckily has an elevator.
The location is pretty central with a walking distance to the cathedral, Budapest eye, the bridge and the Jewish quarter. Also, many restaurants and supermakets around so the area is lively and safe and very close to the underground too.
Upon check out we left our luggage for a small fee. Last note, they don't take cards, you have to pay in cash in HUF or Euros at a very good exchange rate.
Out of the 5 hostels I stayed at during my trip, this one was definitely the best.
