Staff are very helpful and accommodating, It is quiet and peaceful to switch off and relax, Breakfast is a traditional isrealy style with a big variety of delicatessen to choose from, Prices are reasonable, The room was nice and clean and quiet

I ended up at the Galil for my Birthright trip. I can't complain too much, since I didn't pay for it. The hotel was adequate for my trip, but if I were traveling by myself, I would never recommend this place to others. Even our tour guide described it as a "s**t hole." As previous reviewers have mentioned, the hotel is dilapidated and old. The rooms are big but grimy. The food downstairs was pretty bad. The staff I can only describe as seedy.
If you're going on Birthright and are going to end up here, it'll just be another experience. If you're not on Birthright, don't stay here.

have to stay at this awful - dirty, with cockroaches, a few meal voice at buffet-breakfast/dinner, old, shabby furniture, bad location to the beach entry - with the group while being on pilgrim tour. This hotel was booked by our guide - a local freelancer woman Larisa - who has probably an agreement (well, at other places where she stayed with us there were good hotels, but in Netanya where our tour ended and she didn't stay, so I suppose she decided to save the expenditures.

Not clean in room or with customer service. Delia, the manager, was rude and ignored my emails about the problem of double payment.
Also, the Passover dinner was over priced at $95 per person. And unbelievably enough, did not include wine. Usually that would be okay, but Passover requires wine in the dinner rituals.
Do not book this hotel if you want a pleasant stay at Netanya!
Also, be advised that Netanya is way off the beaten track. Do not plan on making it a home base from which you visit Jerusalem. The bus takes 3 hours each way to get to Jerusalem.

We lived in a big room, with balcony, it is very nice room (our friends get much smaller room), in the room: flat tv, coffee table, additional plaids, fridge, kettle, elegant chairs, plastic chairs in the balcony. Everyday towels changing, soaps, shampoos, douche gel.
Posibilyti to take towels to the beach. Near hotel gym, kids playground. The room is ok, but cleaning is very low, once we found a big black hair in the bathroom, and a cockroach. The balcony was dirty.
Breakfast is normal, but everyday the same, one day we had pachlava, but it was only once, other days it was cookies, and the last day sweet pie. First 2 days tuna is ok, but the rest days it was mixed with olives or corns, it means tuna not very fresh.
