Walkers. Found the place easily, using perfect directions. Greeted warmly by Clive, immediately showed us to a wonderful room and stayed a bit to talk with us about our walking day and some of his travels in the United States. The room was lovely. We felt comfortable. En suite, and the shower was excellent. I especially liked the lounge that was one floor below us. I used it to write some postcards. Then we walked the short distance to the only pub in town. Excellent. Vegetarian meals for us. Wonderful friendly atmosphere. Back up to the B and B before dark. In the morning, the breakfast was served in a spacious room with a large window overlooking the small town. Clive spent time with us as we ate, explaining many of the splashes of Americana spread around the room. He is a wonderful storyteller...and we invited him and Alicia to visit us in Indiana! This guest house was a perfect stop. We could not have felt more comfortable.

If you want somewhere really quiet for a chance to re-charge your batteries, look no further.- be warned, it is quite remote
Nothing in this village apart from the pub (Five Pilchards)
Gallen-Treath oozes hospitality and Alicia and Clive try their damnest to please you
First class breakfast - probably the best we have ever had and very comfy beds

1st Holiday in Cornwall and couldn't have picked a better Guest House than Gallen Treath. Alicia and Clive were lovely hosts. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and with a lovely sea view. Great choice of home cooked breakfasts.

We booked for a two week stay and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Alicia and Clive are wonderful hosts. Comfortable and spotlessly clean room, we had a superb view of the small harbour from our room. The breakfasts are wonderful and definitely set you up for the day.
Can't recommend this highly enough, we had a great experience.

We had a lovely time, Clive and Alicia were very hospitable, they made us feel so welcome. Food was excellent, room was comfortable everything we needed. Very clean it was like home from home. We will return.
