Good bits!!
Check in was really quick,receptionist showed us to our studio which we thought was a nice touch,bathroom good,staff friendly enough. Snack bar was ok,beer self service and tasted good plus we made some good friends.
BAD BITS!!
Room not that clean,food not great unless you like tepid bland food,no view from pocky balcony,electrics kept blowing in studio,only two sockets in the whole studio apartment one being in the tiniest kitchen I have ever seen ( yes I know studios donât have big kitchen).
No baileys on all inclusive which Iâve never come across before in any Spanish hotel. Got bitten all over on the first nights sleep and ended up with Lymes disease so take a lot of insect repellent with you as weâve never ever been bitten anywhere weâve been before!
This is our try honest review of this hotel and itâs safe to say we will NOT be going back and neither will the friends we met!

Stayed in two bedroom apartment with sea view, appartment was clean and spacious. Hotel was ideally situated easy walk to both coves, we spent two days on the beach and remainder by the pool. We stayed by the quieter pool away from the major crowds, plenty of sun beds to go round.
The food was plentiful and extremely good. There was various salads, fresh fruit and ice cream as well as five alternative cooked meals, we were never dissatisfied. The breakfast was very good with fresh bread, fruit cereals and four flavours of yogurt, along with dried fruit, plus cheese ham and cooked breakfast. I miss walking down to breakfast with such a varied choice, plus washing up at home!!
The entertainment was very amusing and the staff very helpful and friendly. If there was a problem they did their best to resolve it. I could not fault this hotel, very good value as well.

All booked through on line agent
My wife, daughter and sister all went for a 7 day break mid half term
Arrived at 1.15am, hotel reception open manned and very accommodating to our late arrival
They had a cold buffet laid on for us and hot and cold drinks
The Hotel complex was plenty with all the guests there and with 5 pools there was never an issue with space or sun beds
The food and whole location was just what we needed for a last minute sun top up
The staff are brilliant and all of them are polite and friendly
Itâs a shame that the disgusting and foul Eastern Block guests were there being totally ignorant rude and unpleasant to be around, Lithuania has a lot to answer for!
All other nations there were friendly and good company
The entertainment was just the right mixture and all in all we would return again
The town, mariner and beeches are clean friendly and great places to visit if you fancy a break from the sun

Arrived for a few days during half term week. The hotel is conveniently located just minutes fromt he beautiful beach of Cala Gran. The shops are restaurants are on your doorstep. Plaenty of variety feom deaigner and boutique to you run of the kill souvenir shops.
We had booked a last minute package and were not disappointed. The studio apartment was a little small but we had a balcony which overlooked one of the pools. It was very quiet in our apartment block even though the resort was busy. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was one of the best we have had on our stays. The all inclusive package suited us really well. The food was good and there was a range of hot and cold meals. My husband can be fussy but he was able to find a dish to suit him every night. Desserts were lovely. All of the meals and snacks were good.
The kids club looked amazing. We ljved joining in with minu disco each night whilst having a drink or two. The entertainment was good especially the act Duomino.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for families. Great entertainment and plenty of pools to suit. Just a few mins from beach.
Would definitely return with my grandchildren.

We went to this hotel in October half term 2017. The hotel was lovely, the pool was really cold but like I say it was October. The only thing the sun is on 1 side of the pool in the morning and then moves to the other side so you have to keep moving. The rooms were very spacious and kept clean by the maids everyday and towels are changed as and when. The food was ok not catered for the British at all, more german and Spanish. The only thing that really upset me was when towards the end of the holiday a group of elderly people arrived , I don't know if they come every year but I felt so uncomfortable especially at meal times , because as you were eating they were like standing over you waiting for your table it was like they had a right to sit there. Was not happy at all. The area was beautiful and the beach was just a stone throws away. The hotel was in a great position walk out the door and shops and restaurants everywhere. Loved cala d'or hopefully will be back again.
