Spent a comfortable night at this resort on our return trip from Sivasagar to Guwahati. The resort is very well located and has an excellent spread. However the resort needs better maintenance and can be turned into a beautiful property.

Obviously you canât expect much luxury here, but the necessities are all there. They have some Swiss type chalets; the interiors are basic, but quite ok for that price. Food is average. One good thing about this resort is the location, which is right beside the highway. But the best thing I liked about this resort was itâs beautifully designed & painstakingly manicured garden. It also has a small lake with boating facility; & they arrange elephant safaris too.

Stayed here for the first time, though have visited Kaziranga several times but have stayed in different resorts, as this was a reunion of our childhood friends who made a weekend program after a gap of 24-25 years.
I believe the management has changed hands and as such there was no management at all in the hotel and in its rooms.
There were not a single guest in the hotel during our stay for two days, the bathroom were in a horrible state, there were no TV's in any of the rooms, we were told that since it gets stolen they have removed all, since all their rooms were far from their reception counter you have to walk down if you need to order tea etc. in your room for there were no calling bell or intercoms. Only the frontage of the hotel was having beautiful gardens, rest was in shambles, the color of the drinking water was as if taken out from the drain.
But the rooms are very spacious for its charges without any luxury..

I stayed in the resort with family in last week of Dec 12, Excellent Location and Greenery, very close to nature also not very expensive. Only thing is the food is just OK and not luxurious at all. Good for one or two night stay with friends and family. also enjoyed the elephant safari (wonderful and life time memorable experience)
Good for the people looking for adventure, wanna feel the culture and tribal living style of NE.

We stayed there for 3 nights in december 2012. The atmosphere is excellent. As it is in Burapahar range you wont get many travelers here, as maximum are heading towards the Kohra range. The resort is well equipped with basic amenities. Food is excellent. They will arrange elephant safari and jeep safari. And to tell you the truth Burapahar range is the best place to get maximum population of Rhino. If you are a bird watcher, then go for trekking inside the park. The forest office will give you the required permission. The most beautiful part about the resort is its calm atmosphere. Even you can go for a walking through the tea estate just behind the resort.
