At 0900 hours on 21 Oct, we departed the following morning for Dalhousie. We stopped at lunch at a wayside hotel and arrived Hotel Grace Mount in Dalhousie at 1815 hours.
1. Hotel Grace Mount â General Ambience We were shown Rooms and was allotted Room Blossoms. We were offered a warm welcome Tea (without milk). Wi-Fi was available only at Reception area. Whereas the Hotel next doors Wi-Fi was coming in strong but in the Rooms it was about 0.16Mbps. Not a happy state. Considering the weather generally there was no air-conditioning in rooms. There was a water boiler but sachets of Tea Coffee Milk or Sugar were not available.
2. Meals. Meals would be served as ordered. May save wastages but we were unable to once again order for Continental cuisine and made good with what was on the Menu and ordered accordingly.
3. Tariff. Executive Suite Rs MAP CP 4500/- - 5500/-
Wi-Fi. Was available in Rooms at very slow speeds
4. Places to visit. Considering the area and time at hand we visited Khajjar and Punjpura waterfalls. The former was a massive valley like expanse where the tourist population was large as also the vendors plying their wares including horses for riding. The later was a little depressing view insufficient rains had the waterfall down to a trickle. The small crowded town had numerous eateries and shops displaying their wares.
5. My Personal Opinion. I would not select this Hotel normally and would search for better more comfortable rooms

Hotel ishan villa Amritsar guided us for this nice economical Hotel at Dalhousie. This is the last hotel when city ends but weather at this spot is best. Rooms are small but we'll kept. Food is OK. Staff is good. Good place.

I visited here last weak.l stayed here for two nights .it was the best hotel. Rooms are very clean .all facilities are available in luxury suite.location is also good.it is about 2km away from tibetean market.

Stayed here last week, deluxe rooms are bit congested. Couple of rooms which they gave was having problem with water heaters but they reacted immediately by giving new room. Room service was best. Best part was food, which was unlimited with any variety of food if you opt room with Map plan. Sceneries from room were good. If rooms were bit spacious it would have been good. You can definitely opt for this rooms. Note if you are panner lover its not good. :) here.

Grace mount is situated little outskirt from Dalhousie center(3 -4 km), at barkota mountain .but will get easily taxi from bus stand. I preferred a walk from there to city center gandhi chowk for roaming and lunch , on the way picturesque beeji park for pics, and it is on the way to Khajjiar , kalatop so location wise it's good. staff was cordial, hotel room was clean and hot water, blower was provided in chilling weather, staff were really helpful, breakfast was good to fill to belly. From room balcony, tiranga can be seen
