I had wonderful experience when i was staying in this hotel. Spacious and clean room. All the staff are great.
If you want to book a room better ask the room with pool view because accross the street is bar and they play loud music. Since i was so tired it didnt bother me much.
Overall it was nice hotel and would love to stay here again

The new room was amazing.
Feel different with the former Graha Beach Senggigi.
The ambience was good and I have a good quality of sleeping at night
Breakfast was so delicious and have many various to try.
I will come again, ciaooo

Emm, where should i start? I booked this hotel last month for my brother from Booking.com. I have sent an e-mail to reservation on 12 December 2017, i have mentioned that i gave authorization to your reservation to charge the room amount to my credit card and please don't charge to my brother because i will pay the room.
Two weeks after, I received a payment notification email and pop up for the room. I was surprised, i mean it's OK for me if you guys charge the reservation to my Credit Card, but my question is, is that OK for you to make charge without send me any confirmation before? Is that normal for you to ignore guest's email?
My simple expectation, at least you send me confirmation or reply my email before you charge my card.
You can check again my email, even i have also mentioned that i tried to book another room for 25 Jan 18, but no also no response!
This is really sad, i mean your hotel seems nice, but i guess your reservation team are not responsive enough.
I hope my brother will have a good time on 24 Jan 18 here.

Stayed here when visiting Lombok with my other half. The hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean. The room was just as the pictures showed - really big and comfortable bed. The hotel had 3 restaurants and the staff were so helpful, especially Renu from the restaurant. If we return to the area we will definitely stay again.

The hotel staffs returned the money I left in my pant's pocket after laundry, so that's where this hotel gets its 4 stars from me.
Google rates Aruna as 3-stars hotel, which is an honest and proper valuation in my opinion. Aruna claims itself a 4-stars, which is also very reasonable. Hotel star-rating in Indonesia can be confusing, it is only valid for the best and worst hotels, but in the middle-class, the rating is so mixed. Aruna is a rare example of a hotel that, I think, perfectly fits its star-rating.
Aruna is located in the Senggigi beach-side area, which is the busiest tourist area in Lombok, apart from the Gilis. The hotel is built with excellent architectural SPACING. You don't only have the hotel building, but you have an ample space of garden in the backyard, and two REFRESHING medium-size swimming pools (including a small children pool). This swimming pools compensate its lack of access to the sea. You can also see that it was built with some nice architectural elements by looking at the bridge that connects the guests room building with the business/event rooms next to it.
Although it is located at the beach-side, Aruna doesn't have its own access to the beach. Well... Senggigi beach itself is not the best beach you can have in Lombok btw. It's fair to say that the beach is good only for a sightseeing, not ideal for swimming. You can have the access to Senggigi beach in the nearby location which is provided by another hotel in the nearby area which name I won't name since I am not doing the review on it.
Aruna offers two types of room location. First, rooms in the main building, secured with card system with additional security access to the building. The second ones are hub of huts-like rooms, which add more tropical island feel to them. It's all up to your preference, they are all good and well-maintained. The room is spacious and pretty clean (I had a deluxe room),
The hotel has a very nice gym, nicely located on top of a small hill. It's great, you can exercise while having a bit of a different view of the hotel's garden.
Apart from the hotel's dining space, Aruna actually has its own beach-side restaurant right in front of the hotel. So if you are a bit bored with hotel's menu, you can look for some alternative menu at that restaurant and dine at the beach.
DINING MENU:
While the building architecture of Aruna gives you higher star-rating hotel impression, the dining menu is where it draws you back to reality. First, it's not bad at all, the food tastes ok. Aruna serves a good variety and combination of Indonesian and western food. But, the selection is limited. You basically have a good but pretty standard menu. There is also a little coffee bar outside. This hotel serves beer.
There are a selection of beach-side cafe if you want to drive a little bit to Jo Je Bungalow cafe. And right in front of Aruna you have a KFC(!!!) and a mini supermarket that sells basic daily needs.
BUSINESS VENUE:
Ah since, I came to Aruna for a business purpose, I can tell you about its meetings rooms. It's great. Properly maintained with good air conditioning. This is a proper hotel for a business event. The snack is a bit plain though (as said in dining menu section above).
WIFI:
Every good review should have an internet connection in it. Aruna has a good one. With a good speed. Wifi signal can be improve much better so it can reach inside the room properly. The connection is pretty stable and it's fast, but not madly fast.
Now let's talk about the downside.
The guest rooms at Aruna main building's ground floor only have very tiny space separating the room with the parking lot / the hotel's vehicles lane. That means, when you open your windows, you will directly see everything outside the hotel, and the other way around! Speaking about privacy? Ya, you may not want people can peek inside your room. But the position of these ground-level rooms are so exposed, with big glass sliding door facing directly to the parking lot.
The other downside is the killer noise in the evening from two nearby live-music bars. For you guys who wants more peace at night, please pick to hut-type rooms that are located farther from those bars. The bars start live-music at 9pm to 12pm. And the big glass sliding door facing the road does little to block the sound.
I don't know whether you like the presence of those bars or not. For someone who likes a bit of nightlife perhaps they can be fun.
A good souvenir shop is not far from this hotel, you can have a short taxi drive to the Sasaku souvenir shop, which name I mention because it's has good price and scam-free (I don't know about the taxi, but the shop is good).
