I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights from 16 to 18 november 2017. Its was such a surprise to see the spacious room and the bathroom. Love the ambiance. The wifi was not very good though when one stays in the room. He or she needs to go to the lobby area if needs to use the free wifi.
Breakfast buffet spread was just nice, considering it's just a 2 star hotel.

The room is clean and comfortable, and tasty breakfast buffet. The lobby area provide welcome drink too. Location is the best, as it is walking distance to Panorama Ngarai Sianok, one of the tourist attraction. There's some locals selling souvenir items and telekong near the hotel, with very good bargain.

so before we pick this hotel on july 11-2016, we already searched hotels along the Jl. panorama...and gran malindo was exactly what we were looking for..a nice clean cozy room, fresh ambiance of hotel, hot water and good price and also a lift!...to move us to the upstairs.... although the breakfast had no many variety but that none an issue since we were at bukit tinggi place where rich flavors of meals are waiting for us...keep the the hotel clean and nice and dont get tempted to raise the price...people will always come back if Gran Malindo is keeping up the good service and price.

Pros:
- the room is big enough
- located near tourist destinations such as taman panorama, lobang jepang, janjang koto gadang (the great wall), and of course the jam gadang and pasar atas/bawah
- the services is really quick
Cons:
- the shower can't be detach off from the wall and has no wastafel
Really a bargain, will probably live in here for the next trip in bukittinggi

the room is clean and big enough for 2 people.. walking distance to tourist attractions (Lubang Jepang) and shops for local food and souvenirs. Free WiFi available. everything is nice there. its my 3rd time stay here..
