The Hotel is actually much better than 80% of the Budget hotels in Amritsar. Not great by EU standards but good for Amritsar. Problem is Amritsar is filthy, very polluted, Noisy due to every vehicle on the road constantly blowing their horns and garbage being thrown on the streets.
The standard of cleanliness in bathrooms as already depicted is other travellers photos is shocking. ....but then this is Amritsar. I have travelled around India over the past 22 years and its getting dirtier, noisier, more polluted and people just don't appear to care.
On a positive note this hotel has trees, and greenery which is very rare in Amritsar. Not green space in the city that are worth relaxing in as they are all noisy either due to speakers blasting out music or proximity of roads.....which means constant hooting and suffocating fumes. India has to wake up to the fact that they are destroying the the health of its citizens and must be possibly the most polluted city in India now.

Visited with friends & stayed 1 night. Enjoyed the stay as staff was helpful and got us a taxi to the border. At night ordered Indian food, paneer tika masalla with butter nan. Must say the chef is really good.
Rooms were nice and overlooked a lovely garden. Overall a nice and peaceful experience. Will recommend this hotel.

The garden at this hotel was the highlight. The rooms below average, not hot water in spite of the advertising, filthy duvet, centipedes in the room, and constant asking for us to pay the full amount of our stay right from our arrival which I found most unusual and affronting. The breakfast was edible but expensive.

It is very close to the railway station, and relatively quiet- you can hear the trains all night.
The hotel has that âold Indiaâ feeling, with big rooms, wide staircase and a internal quart yard with some dusty palm trees.
The rooms are cold and damp, and you can get a hot shower.
WiFi is best at ground floor.
