One night was enough here as it is very average. My room was huge and clean but very run down. Breakfast was buffet style and again was just ok. Hotel reminds me of a bus tour hotel. Location was excellent right in the centre of town with a big car park across the road

We stayed at the hotel for one night in order to see the caves and the Christmas markets on our way to a further part of the holiday in Maastricht.
The hotel is in a great location for all the town. But especially the caves. And local restaurants.
You don't need a car as it's a out a 20 mins walk from the train station. Everything is then within a 15 mins walk.
We stayed a Friday night and did the Christmas markets on that day which is my best tip as the queues on Saturday were very long. The security in both places was very good with security guards situated throughout the caves and tickets had to be purchased prior to going in.
The offer of products to buy was varied and there was a bar we sat in to have a gluhwein.
The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. Two single beds were pushed together to make our double bed. Which caused many laughs due to the gap in between us. However it was no problem.
The breakfast was lovely with a selection of hot and cold buffet. The breads and jams were very good.
We enjoyed our whole experience. I would recommend staying just one night but allow most of both days to take in all the sights. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed for one night on a father / daughter trip. In my youth I came to this hotel for a few days each year and I have good memories. It was very nice to have the opportunity to stay here again and have dinner.
We had a spacious, clean room with good beds (junior suite). I always take my own pillow, but I could have left my pillow at home this time. Real glasses in the bathroom, a thick curtain by the bed to make the room extra dark and a nice temperature: nice! One minor thing: the wifi is not too fast. Switched to my own 4G.
Dinner exceeded all expectations. A concise menu with a number of classic dishes. Both the starter, main course and dessert were a small celebration. Every dish nailed it in terms of taste, temperature and combination of ingredients. For example, the melon in the starter was chilly, while the Italian ham was perfectly at room temperature and on the plate separated from the melon. Also the spinach at the main course (a beautiful sole) was sublime, while the dessert (fresh strawberries with vanilla ice cream) was perfectly complemented by a delicious light piece of foam cake. It has been a while since I have eaten so well!
Finally, breakfast. A nice buffet with fresh ingredients. The scrambled eggs with bacon tasted fine. The only point of improvement that I can think of: the chairs in the breakfast room sliding over the marble floor made quite some noise.
My expectations have been greatly exceeded. The family who run this hotel are professionals. Highly recommended!

It is located around the corner of the city centre, close to the river. Rooms are spacious, cosy and clean. Rooms are also quiet.
Private parking is offered at a decent rate. We had a very pleasant stay.

Rooms dated and musty smell. The hallway and the elevator too. No air conditioning, electric kettle and wifi coverage in the rooms, something you expect from a 4 star hotel. I would say 2 stars is closer to the truth. Even the fridge was not cool. Expected more from this hotel . Beds were uncomfortable, mattress too soft. However, friendly staff and basic but very good and fresh breakfast. The rooms were clean.
