We visited this place with our family members during our trip to winters of Kashmir....stayed at the grand Mumtaz resorts, welcomed by snow covered resort ..during our one day stay we have enjoyed the full sightseeing on horse ... with temperatures at -1 degrees...it was an amazing experience with people of Kashmir...enjoyed khawa...Kashmiri dum aloo...at the grand Mumtaz resort ...food was super ...its support was amazing ....who helped us to eat what is famous in Kashmir they offered best food pure veg ...I was truly overwhelmed by the hospitality we received at grand Mumtaz...thank you to the manager and itâs support staff for taking care ..!!

We stayed in this resort in last week Dec 2017. This resort is away from pahalgam city taxi centre. So if you are planning to stay at this hotel always plan to dine here only. No nearby restaurant. Rooms are modern , spacious . Food is good. Breakfast having limited variety but quality food. Dinner is also good but having limited choices.Hotel has many blocks. We stayed in B block which has two floors. View from hotel rooms are good. In last Dec week resort surroundings, fields and ways were snow covered. So nice experience of this Hotel.

Resort location is good. During our visit it was surrounded by snow all around. Rooms are quite spacious and having heating arrangement. Service is also good, staff is friendly and provide extra good bed for kids. Only food is with limited options and preparation is also ok. Rest its nice

Stayed here for 2 nights.
Not a worth property. Only location is good.
- No internet in the room
- No intercom so you have to come to front desk for everything you need ( since our prepaid did not working in KAshmir)
- Breakfast menu was same on both days
- Bed was okay.
- Heating system was not that great.
Noting much to add for the Pros list other than location. Look for better hotel.

We stayed here for 2 days end of December. It looks like a very dated property, corridors were smelly.
First, good things - Location, Rooms were clean, front desk staff was courteous and helpful
Things that needs great improvement -
1. food was very mediocre, so much so you will wonder whether they have a chef
2. linens and pillows were so dirty with drool stains etc (yes, very nasty), they replaced it once it was brought to notice, but a four star property shouldn't have put them on in the first place.
3. Was promised a golf course view, however gave us a back room with no view saying only the main building is open for business
Overall, a big let down
