I had booked 2 rooms for me and my colleague on Goibibo while on business trip to Manali for overnight stay on 9th December on way back to Delhi Airport.
We had a very bad experience - we checked in around 11.30 pm on 9th December and were allotted Room No 204/205 - on entering the room we found that Air-conditioners were removed and the room/bed was with rabbit lying around, room full of dirt, unclean linen. On pointing it out we were moved to room 202/203 then tried 201/205 - in all the rooms though the Air-conditioners were present they were not functioning, with remotes missing, unclean linen and the attitude of the staff was very indifferent to the situation. It was so bad that we were told that it is winter so no need for AC, the rooms what are given is what they provide, irrespective of what has been committed at the time of booking. It had taken almost 1 hour and still at 12.30 am we were not given a room wherein all amenities were functional. To our surprise we were also told that Breakfast (which we had paid for with the booking) can be availed of only between 8.30 am to 9.30 am which also is quite different from usual timings of 7 am to 10 am.
As the place was simply not livable we had no option but to ask for refund and search for other place at 1 am in the morning. We were constantly getting a feeling of being cheated and attitude of the management was appearing to be of taking customers for a ride. As they refused to refund the money as booked through Goibibo, I had to call Goibibo Customer Care and lodge a complaint to get my refund. After speaking to the concerned staff, for speaking to Hotel Staff I was put on hold and the person started speaking to Hotel Guy and height was the guy was telling all the lies projecting as if we were not accepting the room! He ultimately on advise of his colleague accepted and said refund could be granted to us as the rooms are not as committed.
It was very frustrating experience at 1 am in the morning after traveling from Manali for 9 hours....the comforting factor being the response of Goibio team which understood our concern and granted refund of the booking! We really appreciate this and even if it was not refunded we were leaving the place to search for other place at 1 am in the morning as the so called "Retreat" was in fact hell!
I certainly feel that in order to stop customers being cheated in future all the portals should take this Hotel out of its list and by making surprise visits to the property check out the functionality/truth of amenities before marking it as certified stay - which in this case is Go Stay certified by Goibibo.
Come what may one should refrain from booking this Hotel unless one wishes to enjoy the most uncomfortable stay!

Convenient location near highway to chandigarh.Went by road.On General sight appeared good and clean stay.In teriors were clean and well maintained. Room services and food were of average. Nice banquet hall on second floor for parties.

I stayed in this hotel for a week for business trip. I had stayed with family and had good time. Staff is very courteous. Best part of stay is very tasty and delicious food. Indian as well as continental and Chinese food is just awesome.

Best hotel situated on Chandigarh Highway, Visit many times for Dinner.very well maintained and a good banquet hall also for functions,Food served is very tasty both veg and non veg in well maintained Restaurant.

had the opportunity of visiting the property during the last weekend. Amazing Chinese Food and Superb Indian Snacks. In fact the Chinese food is better than most of the famous restaurants in Kolkata. The snacks are delicious and mouth watering. However the Hotel needs to be more organised. Its a one person show wherein every thing is looked after by the Lady Owner. Kudos to her she is doing a great job
