Very Small Rooms Okay for Stopover

Very, very small rooms. No, the cat wouldnât survive the swing around. Plenty of features packed into the small space including good WiFi. Bed was comfortable and the area fairly quiet at night. Bathroom is tiny and claustrophobic, but, again everything a traveller needs is provided. Good range of restaurants nearby, but not much choice for bars. Efficient and friendly check-in/out process. Okay for a one-night stopover.
Convenient Location

This is a typical Japanese local hotel with small but functional rooms.
It is a two-minute walk from the Kamata Train station, 15 minutes to Tokyo Station and 20 minutes to Haneda Airport by train.
For those who want to be away for the business of the more popular parts of Tokyo and want a quiet hotel to sleep in, this is ideal for a short stay.
Check in was efficient and the receptionist spoke enough English for the process to be painless.
Second time here & still enjoyed my stay

This is based as a solo traveler.
This is the second time here & still enjoyed my stay.
The service was again very friendly, their knowledge of English wasn't too bad but you can get by.
The room for a single is small. But has everything you need.
All the toiletries, a small bar fridge, a desk, bed, tv, & a small cubby to hang a few clothes.
The bed was firm but I prefer a firm bed & the a/c worked fine.
FYI...you have to put the key into the slot to turn the electricity on in the room.
You also have to leave the keys at the front desk when you're going out anywhere. Just so you don't lose them along your travels. They'll give you your key when upon entering again.
The service was still excellent for me, the rooms cleaned every day & the stay here was still nice.
There is a lot of places around to grab a bite & places to drink. Even a Lawson's straight out from the hotel. 2min. walk
And you can get anything there to snack on or drink, or whatever you may need.
Thieves Work for This Hotel

Japanese are so honest. Many times when we lost things, and went back to find it still where we left them. That opinion was until we stayed at this hotel, Grand Park Hotel Panex in Kamata, Tokyo, watch out! This place has dishonest employee(s) . We forgot our neck pillow in the room, but they said there's no lost and found of such item when we returned two weeks later. We also left a suitcase there to come back in two weeks, the beer we left inside the suitcase was gone, stolen!! Old hotel, rip-off price for breakfast. STAY AWAY! Next door has Business Inn Kamata which is better.
Good if one needs to stay close to Haneda airport

Stayed here because of an early flight out of Haneda. There is a convenient bus to the airport just 5mins walk from the hotel. The prize is reasonable because the area is not touristy. Many food options close-by. What I didn't like was that the room was cold (not the lobby though) and there was no heater. Had a cold when I arrived back home and one reason was the night I spent in this place.
