Best hotel near Bayswater

Stayed for 5D4N . Booked for 5 person and was given 1st floor room facing the courtyard . It's consist of one king bedroom and a living hall with kitchenette enough with cooking utensils and bfast table , but the negative , it was cramped with 2 extra beds . Beside that the room and bathroom very clean . The staff very friendly and they help us with our luggage during check in and out . The location is great , near Bayswater , Kesington Palace , Hyde Park , Malaysian Hall and halal eating places . Also near public transport station such as tube/underground station and HOHO bus stop . Will comeback especially in winter !

Great location (short walk to Kensington Palace and Hyde Park)

Unfortunately our stay started out horribly - we are a family of 4, and we were put into basement accommodation consisting of 2 single beds and a makeshift bed on the floor for my husband and I. I had our travel agent arrange a new room for our second night, this time on the first floor, and this room was much better.

Cramped n noisy

We were given a room at courtyard facing the selesa restaurant. It was on top floor where there were no lift except staircase. We were travelling with kids and imagine to carry those bags up the staircase.

Upon opening the room we found out that the room was small. There’s only one room and the extra beds were placed in the living room and it was a floor level bed which were only 6 inches above the floor. It was not what was reflected in the website. It was so cramped as there were 3 kids so 2extra bed around the living room.

At night as we were facing the restaurant, people were hanging out at the terrace way above 12 am and they were noisy and the hotel management didn’t do anything about it.

I stayed here in Sep 2017 and the room given was spacious but this time for 5 of us it was so cramped and it was like living in a squatter room.

The bags were difficult to open. The management should advertise the real conditions of the room so that guest will know exactly what they are paying for.

Really disappointed with this room as compared to the ones we got in Sep.

Please be transparent when advertising your rooms.

Difficult place to stay during summer, but the helpful staff tried their best to make it work

Stayed 5 nights in a double executive studio in mid-June in one of the hottest spells in London for the year, which made it quite harrowing for families with young children.

The rooms did not have any air conditioning and given the hot spell, opening the windows barely helped. The staff were helpful (a consistent positive) in trying to locate standing fans to make it better, but the mobile ice air-conditioners were fully used. This made the nights very challenging.

The toilet/bathroom was very small and it was difficult to do much without banging an arm against a wall. Somehow, despite the room being so warm in the heat wave, the bathroom managed to be even hotter.

The staff were the positive here however - they were very conscious of the situation that many guests were in and tried their bests to help. They were also helpful in taking delivery of parcels which arrived before we did.

The location is also very good (the reason we chose this establishment), walking distance from Bayswater (where you have multiple food choices) and Kensington Gardens (Queensway station end), as well as two bus stops from Notting Hill.

Overall, for an average of 150 quid a night, I'd look for other alternatives which can cope better with hot weather, if making a trip in summer.

Service is average...wonder if caucasians are treated better though (we are asians). So anyways, the apartment was quite cosy and homely:)

One thing, which was weird, is that they expected us to collect the bucket of ice and coffee sachets that we wanted by ourselves at the reception. I mean it’s serviced apartments for a reason right?

The family room, which we stayed in, was ok. Not a very spectacular and there were no ‘WOW’ factors:(

Breakfast was average too with a minimal selection.

The service of the people manning the breakfast place was average too. The only good one was the woman wearing spectacles.

We were also not told at all that we had breakfast provided throughout our stay. We told the reception but they just looked like they couldn’t do anything and kept insisting that it would’ve been written on the card but it wasn’t.

They seem to have shrugged it off after.

The only good thing was the location.

I recommend booking your stay at premier inn county hall!!!
