The reception called a non-licensed taxi, it had not a taximeter and the driver asked for 50 euro to the airport. It stopped the car at normal parking and not the taxi parking. I think the guy at the reception called his friend and not a taxi company.

I spent one night on this hotel on 25/01/2018.
Positives: Room bigger then expected, excellent location and cheaper then average for Brussels.
Negatives: It is cheap for a reason: uncomfortable bed (room 135), very poor signal on the TV, only one plug in the bathroom to charge electronics, so if your phone is your alarm clock forget it.
Also no need to pay EUR 15 for the breakfast as you can have a luxury breakfast for the same amount in the Paul Bakery close by.
It was okay for one night, but not longe then that.

Situated in a very practical location, next to the North Station and very close to the Metro, the hotel provides a basic range of facilities as a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was nice, the room was very clean and the heating working properly. The only negative is the small size of the bathroom and the lack of any room amenitites. Overall I give a postive vote.

The hotel situated about 500 meters from Noord (Nord) train station, where you can get from airport. And by walking about 5 minutes you can reach most beautiful place of the city for sightseeing and shopping. It's impossible to lost in this place, so you won't need even a map. The hotel is not luxurious, but it is a historical one. You will not find any teapot, iron and other accessories. So, be ready for plain room conditions. By the way, about the train station. If you're planning to catch the airport via train in the night, consider the fact that train station doesn't work till 6 a.m., despite what is written on the railways web site. You'll have also to pay additional taxes during the check-in process (about 4-6 euros per day).

Good location, net to the Metro station and the train station. Even if it is located in a not so good neighborhood, I traveled alone and had no problems.
Unfortunately, staff is not enough to ensure a good service and is not very helpful.
However, breakfast is acceptable, with the basic.
Room is good size. It didn't have air conditioned but the heating worked fine.
Overall, the hotel has a retro atmosphere, has the basics to a short stay, it's located next to public transportation and the prices are good, if we compare them with other much worst hotels located in the center os Brussels.
I will consider staying here again, regarding the prices.
