Where do I start... on arrival we were greeted with a very frosty welcome at reception. We were handed the key to room number 9 and a garage fob. We were not directed to the room or given any further information.
On arrival to the room we where shocked at how dusty and dirty the place was. The floor was so dirty that my wet shoes left clean footprints. The balcony doors did not close properly and the balcony was in a discusting state. The toilet and shower area was dirty and covered in mold. We complained to the receptionist who very reluctantly gave me a key to a different room and told me to stay there. This room looked slightly cleaner and in better condition although all bathroom appliances were broken, the windows did not close properly and it was two single beds not a double. We stayed as it was a bed for the night as we were getting up early to the eurotunnel.
In the morning, we went to the garage ready to leave to find the fob to the garage was not working. There was no one around at the hotel, no contact numbers given and all bells and alarms were disconnected. After knocking on all doors and repeatidly ringing the phone we finally got somebody to help us only to find the electricity had been turned off (not what you need when you have a train to catch).
All in all an extremely terrible stay. Not only all the problems listed above but there was also lots of nose, banging, and shouting with young men hanging around in the corridors and entrance.
We definatly do not recommend staying here.

Stayed here last while visiting Calais and Dunkirk i cant understand why this place has some negative reviews on here. Granted its very cheap and therefore basic but we found the hotel to be comfortable and clean. the bath had enough space for two with plenty of hot water the double bed was one of the most comfiest beds we have stayed in. The staff were really helpful too and accommodated for a two young children really well. We will be returning again soon when we next visit France.

Booked this very last minute after deciding not to stay at the hotel we had originally booked! Staff were really helpful, friendly and accommodating. We travelled on motorcycles and fortunately the hotel had a secure garage for us to keep them in overnight. Rooms were ok. Clean and comfortable.

This is a very cheap hotel and we booked it last minute. To say it was only £40 for the night, it was worth it. It was modern-ish. But could do with a good bleach in the bathroom and some proper pillows, they did feel a bit like cotton balls in a pillowcase. Free wi-fi which was good too. Pleasant service.

This hotel is not the Ritz but it is very good value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel is in an excellent position. There are lots of good restaurants within close walking distance. The staff are helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a good priced hotel.
