From the room to the facilities to the service.....all fabulous! We only had 2 nights here but would definitely return. If you want a nice quiet drink after a long day sightseeing we can definitely recommend the hotel bar although quite pricey itâs worth it.

Hotwire sent me there and I did not regret it. Everything, from service to rooms, is to Sofitel standards. The location is wonderful, close to Grands magasins, and the hotel is easy luxury. Great choice.

When we checked in we were greeted by the relationship manager, Maryanne who shows is to our beautiful suite. It was my sisters surprise 50th birthday present. They delivered a cake and drink to the room. Invited us to s cocktail party. All the staff were wonderful and so helpful. I stayed in Paris before but never had a hotel experience like this. Best best holiday ever.

Was put up here for work, so can't comment on value for money, but I really enjoyed it. Service at the front desk and concierge was perfect - really helpful and friendly and polite. Somehow the Scribe, which is across the road from the much more high and mighty Intercontinental (where I was working) seemed to have the convivial atmosphere of a more boutique hotel (in the best sense of the word). I was in a clean, well serviced /appointed courtyard room, which was a change from the usual hotel layout (there was a separate bathroom and toilet, separated from a good sized bedroom by a walk-in hall / entry space). Hermes toiletries too, divine! Around the corner from the Opera and a couple of minutes to the big department stores, not to mention a pleasant ten minute walk to the Louvre down one of the most beautiful boulevards in the city. Breakfast also very good, with Asian options, fruit/yoghurt/pastries and American/British style eggs etc.

A very nice comfortable hotel and very well positioned for touring and site seeing close to the rail network, the rooms were very clean, and the concierge were most helpful for booking tickets and meals, we dined in at the hotel restaurant and it was a fantastic meal thoroughly enjoyable most pleasant surroundings, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends or colleagues. We found it an excellent base for sight seeing in Paris .
