Stayed just 1 night for family meeting. Wanted to stay longer because so comfortable and great location. Can't go wrong with this hotel!
Convenient free parking so you can walk to beach and many attractions.
Very friendly front desk staff. Will book again for next visit.

First of all, I want to commend all the hotel staff. Many of the staff were helpful and friendly even with the language barrier. They are a credit to the hotel.
The hotel is located right across from Hauendae Beach. Wonderful location in summer. Not too great in winter. We had to taxi everywhere. Luckily most taxi drivers were familiar with this hotel so we never had any problems finding our way back. It cost KRW5,000 (US$5) to taxi to Shinsegae, the largest department store in the world so it claims. KRW15,000 (US$15) to taxi to Jalgachi Market or Busan central shopping areas. KRW17,000 (US$17) to taxi to Busan train station to take the KTX to Seoul.
However the hotel has seen better days. The rooms are kept clean but is in desperate need of refurbishment. Water pressure in the bath was low which made bathing a chore in winter. However if you are not fussy like me, then this hotel provides value for money provided you are looking to be close to the beach.

It is deserving of the name "Grand." We've stayed on about 10 hotels in the Haeundae area but the Grand is where we are excited to stay again. On more than one occasion and including this trip, we have had our rooms upgraded and switched to the ocean view as a complimentary gesture. The hotel has a feel of an old hotel in that they take care to add a personal and human touch. The hotel feels like a home away from home. Thank you guys for always making our stay in Busan a happy one!! Oh, and what a view!!!

Worn down. We had to have our toilet fixed, our air conditioner fixed, the safe was broken and had to be replaced, etc. they finally offered a different room, but that room looked warn: worn carpet and smelly room.
The breakfast buffet was outstanding, excellent.
Lunch was super overpriced. I think it was $28 for a sandwich.
Definitely not a 5 star hotel, as advertised.

Stayed for a night in this hotel and got a corner room on the 13th floor. The room has really weird vibes and looked pretty old and rundown. I am not a superstitious person but I really don't feel comfortable staying in this hotel. Breakfast selections were very average too. Overall a disappointing stay.
