I was here for business in the maritime museum. It was very convenient because the hotel is close to that. Nice area close to the river. In the surroundings within 1 km also Guggenheim, the football stadium and many good restaurants. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel.

In October 2017, my US-based team organized a high-profile 110+ person conference at NH Collection Villa de Bilbao. Guests were split between NH Collection and NH Zubialde, requiring close coordination between the two hotels.
At NH Zubialde, my team worked closely with Gemma (Front Desk Manager) for several months in the lead-up to the event. Our team had many special requests, and Gemma and her staff were very gracious and responsive to accommodate them.
Our colleagues very much enjoyed their stay at NH Zubialde â colorful breakfast, spacious rooms, and, above all, excellent customer service. For the purposes of the conference at NH Collection, the location was perfect â only a 5-minute walking commute between hotels.
On the Thursday evening of our conference, we chose to have a reception in the area known as âLa Terraza/Carpa de Cristalâ at NH Zubialde. While this space is typically used for weddings, it was very suitable for our large group and presenters. The tent-like structure is on the northern end of the hotel, and is a beautiful, decorative space that overlooks the river.
In summary, our team had a fantastic stay at NH Zubialde. We highly recommend the hotel to other groups. Thank you, Gemma, and team!

Friendly personnel. Location covered from the Airport's bus and Metro. Nice location. May be a problem if Athletic plays. Plenty of room, also in the bath. Clean. Good quality breakfast. Noise from other rooms.

Al over the hotel was ok. We stayed for 4 nights. When we arrived they told us there would be a wedding the 3d night but that was ok, we went to the Guggenheim art after dark. But the 4d night there was also a wedding outside on the terras under our room. It would last until 12 a clock. But finally it lastend Untill 2.30 so we got another room at 12. They told us we did not have to pay for that night, but in the morning they only gave us a little discount.

Everything about the hotel was pefect. Firstly, the location is less than 5 minutes from the bus station from where you can get to the airport and anywhere in Spain. Pretty setting next to the river and the impressive new football stadium. The rooms and facilities were excellent, especially the restaurant on the terrace and breakfast.The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist Irene, who helped me out with a personal matter in a very professional way when I had a problem. I would certainly recommend the hotel and look forward to being able to go back there one day.
