This is an odd place, very small and very quiet. It is some distance from the town so you need transport as the restaurant was not open in the evening, nowhere to get a drink and the breakfast is limited. Reception closes overnight. There was no aircon but we were there during unusually hot weather. We did have a fan. The room has facilities like ironing board, kettle, hairdryer, toiletries, Tv and free 1GB of WiFi.

Restaurant closed, hardly English speaking staff, room not cleaned, Wifi not working, bathroom with hair from previous visitor, need to decide about breakfast the evening before and too expensive. Not happy, worst NZ hotel we visited.

Older motel kind of 70's styling, but very clean and large rooms. We were very comfortable here and would stay again. The staff catered to anything we wanted and gave us a room well away from everyone else when a bus tour stayed the night. I recommend you stay here.

Nicely sized modern room. Located close to the Fox Glacier town for dinning and tours. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. Lake Matheson is also near by which is a must do when in the area. Hotel also offers meals if you pre-order.

Worst place I stayed in 3 weeks in NZ. Arrived to be told that our booking for two adults one child was only one bed and they were full so no arrangements could be made. Then the desk guys said breakfast was included which made sense as it was about 50-70 dollars more than any other âlikeâ hotel we stay in last 3 weeks. After eating a very average breakfast we were charged $75! and told by same desk guy that he had not said it was included-the story about breakfast had changed. The 1gb of internet was useless as it was so weak at night that you could not use it. Take another option if offered this place.
