Check in service and room set up was poor. However restaurant was very good. Location is very accessible to all types of public transport. The hotel is located as part of the west end mall hence very convieneint

The hotel is in an ideal location next to west end mall. Plenty of dining options close by and the executive lounge overlooks parliament at night. The service is what really stood out for us however, they went above and beyond to help us. Had an issue with a local cab driver trying to charge us an outrageous amount and the hotel staff took care of it for us. Will return to this hotel if I ever return to Budapest

A modern hotel attached to a large shopping mall/cinema/restaurant complex. Nicely decorated room. View over rooftops from the Executive Lounge to Buda and the hills beyond. Lots of parking in the shopping centre. Close to metro.

The Hilton is set on the hill of Buda with commanding views over the Danube to the Parliament buildings. It is built on the site of a previous Dominican monastery and the walls of the old monastery can be seen at many sites around the hotel. Buda is much quieter that Pest and there are considerable traffic control measures. However there is a very good public transport service with direct connections to and from the centre of Pest which take about 10 minutes. The Hotel is at present undergoing renovation but the building work did not affect our time there. We had a recently-renovated room overlooking the Danube and Parliament. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. There was a safe in the room and also tea and coffee-making facilities. Throughout the hotel the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good with a wide range of food and beverages available. Within five minutes' walk of the hotel there are several good restaurants - although I would not regard these as cheap, the food they produced was extremely good. We purchased a Budapest Card which easily pays for itself within a few days with free public transport, free or discounted entry to several thermal spas, free entry to many museums and discounted bills in many restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Hilton Hotel and would definitely return there if we are again in Budapest.

A very pleasant stay for this well located hotel in Budapest. The room could have done with a little updating and attention at the edges but the bed was comfortable and overall clean. Good service from the staff overall and despite a delay for check in due to previous arrivals the team were efficient. The breakfast was very good for all three mornings and I would recommend including in any package.
