I understand that I was paying almost $300 a night for the Heathrow Express proximity, but surprised how rundown my room (605) was. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but the bathroom a bit of a disaster and in need of a fresh coat of paint to cover the chips, cracks and mildew.
I tried to get a cup of decaffeinated coffee from both the restaurant and bar at just past 10:00PM and was told that they were both out of coffee. The room had a kettle and instant coffee, but I was not that desperate for a cup and passed.
I did enjoy my breakfast the next morning in the Executive Lounge, while watching the trains come and go from the window above the station.

Stayed here after coming to London for a show. Last time we had a room above a weeding disco that went on until 3am but this time asked for a room high up and over the station which is very quiet. The main issue I have is the pricing. As a HHons member I purchased a room in the Hilton sale at 25% off normal price only to find in the weeks coming up to my stay ( no cancellation allowed) that prices on booking.com were 35% off and open to all. This meant someone who booked through booking.com got a breakfast or upgraded room cheaper than in the Hilton sale. I did contact the hotel prior to my stay and hoped they would address this but alas no nothing
So Hilton members need to shop around for the best price.

great location. great service. great food. great rooms. This hotel is a great base for visiting London. Access to LHR via the Express is a plus. The rooms are spacious, for London. The hotel is quiet and the room service is very good.

Booked into hotel Friday 2/2. Got room 110. street side, poor internet and on floor where events are scheduled. VERY noise. Internet continued to drop. Had to go out in the hall to connect and once past the interior foyer of the room, connection would drop. Changed to room 302. iInterior room with no view, but quiet and internet worked well.

Fantastic hotel and so convenient from LHR Via the Heathrow Express. Hotel is steps from the train. Fantastic location and getting around Via the subway is great. Only negative is the Tower rooms, it is like a mace to get to your room or even to the Tower elevators.
