I booked online through the IHG website. The hotel is easy to find although a bigger sign would be easier to spot in the dark. There is a big car park. The check-in was quick and easy. The room was a nice room with a heater and air con. The bathroom had a selection of towels including one big one, At night the room was dark and there was no noticeable noise from adjacent rooms. The breakfast area is big (and was being kept clean by the staff), there was the normal hot and cold choices form a HIE. The check-out was also quick. The staff I met were all friendly.

Pretty good hotel , check in efficient, rooms are
decent size and clean , beds are comfy, bar is quite small but ok for a drink before you venture out . Breakfast is help yourself buffet style and decent enough. Great location for Epsom Downs and the Queens Stand is a five minute walk away. Getting into Epsom town centre is a £5 cab journey

This hotel is in a lovely area, with amazing views of Epsom racecourse to the front and left hand side. The room was not the most exciting hotel room I have ever stayed in - it was quite basic andthe colour scheme makes it a little drab, but it is probably practical for a hotel of this style. Having said that, we were provided with everything we needed in that room and it was clean and very comfortable, which is really all one can ask for. Free parking, free hot breakfast which was all fresh and very tasty, accompanied by croissants, pastries, toast and preserves, juices, cereals and hot beverages. In-room hot drink facilities, hairdryer and trouser press - nothing left in-catered for. Overall a really pleasant stay for a budget price. Would stay again.

Stayed here as friends were having a party at the golf club - hotel is in a lovely spot by race course - lots of free parking -reception / bar/ dining areas all light bright / staff friendly/ rooms just as pictures show good size , clean , comfy bed, good shower , tea/ coffee in room . Hairdryer/ iron - everything you would need!
Breakfast was very good - I was expecting continental so was pleasantly surprised with the bacon/ sausage/ beans / scrambled egg
Good choice cereals fresh fruit toast etc ( self service) the staff were always filling up and clearing tables
There is a lift for the less able
Staff were very helpful in organising taxis for us and on our return it was nice to see the night porter come straight to us to check our names / rooms etc
Definitely would stay again if up that way

I live in France; so whenever I am visiting London, I always stay at the Holiday Inn hotels. They are almost exactly the same which means that I know eaxctly what to expect: somewhere safe to park, welcoming staff who will supply ice and cutlery and plates if you want to have a picnic-dinner in your room, and an extra chair if there are two people who want to sit and watch television in comfort. The bathrooms always have a shower which works efficiently; the towels are clean and new, and changed each day by an invisible maid; and you can regulate the heating in the room or the airconditioning yourself. There are special price deals if you stay there regularly as I do, and sometimes it's possible to stay there free of charge. Breakfast is included and the choice is generous: a hot, cooked breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and beans on toast, cereal, juices, tea, coffee - all self-service which you easily get the hang of.
The Holiday Inn at Epsom is not only valued for its views of the Downs: it's well worth knowing about if everywhere in London is booked up because of some special event that's going on there. The Holiday Inn at Epsom will somehow fit you in.
