Unfortunately stayed here on business for a number of nights. Rooms are basic but functional. The foyer is lovely though! Housekeeping did not clean room on day 2, even with 3 attempts nothing. Took them until 9:00 pm to show up. It appears even the hotel management have no control over the housekeeping department. Will avoid in future, which is sad because it has the perfect location.

The Holiday inn Kensington hotel is located conveniently near Gloucester Road tube station, many restaurants, pubs, etc. There are both a Waitrose and a Sainsbury supermarkets very close by. Additionally, you can walk to the Natural history museum the V&A and Harrodâs. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright and has a restaurant. Down the hall from the restaurant there is a local pub where you can enjoy a nice adult beverage and several pub style foods are available.
The rooms are not the best but this is one of my companyâs official hotels and has been for years. The staff is reasonably friendly but Alan the concierge is the star of the hotel. He treats all of us as his premier customers and is always open for nice conversation and good suggestions for food/bars/activities etc.
Being a hotel I have been to many times over; I am keenly aware of the amenities found in our rooms. I.e the coffee service. On my stay on this date there was no regular coffee and only one cup was provided. They generally put 2 cups, 2 regular coffee packets.
The hot water pot still had leftover water (or whatever the previous guest may have placed in the pot) meaning it is not cleaned between guests. Itâs a bit unsanitary to find old water in a hotel

There is generally 1 maybe 2 plastic glasses in the bathroom. There were none. This I use for my toothbrush to avoid placing it on the bathroom counter. The tissue box was empty. There were 3 tissues inside the box. It felt as if the person cleaning this room simply changed the sheets (if that) and the towels and did nothing else.
I love the location of this hotel and its surroundings but I definitely would not stay here on my own (company business only) and unless the hotel invests in better room presentation, cleanliness and attention to details; I do not recommend staying here. I hope the hotel Management realizas that even though we do not have a choice in where we stay on company business; we do have a voice that is heard around the world.

Booked a double room, got a twin, stayed 2 nights room not cleaned on 2nd day, mould aroubdbath seal, stayed before was ok but not happy this time.couple of photos attached broken drawer and no idea what was going on behind the desk

We stayed here in mid-January and found the hotel very nice, very well located with a helpful staff. We chose this hotel because it was on the Piccadilly Tube line with a straight shot to Heathrow airport (6 Pounds and about 45 minutes). The big problem was the hot room temperature. We couldn't control the heat and opening the window during the night wasn't an option due to the bright lights outside. In hindsight, I should have requested to change rooms, but didn't.

Stayed here for a weekend out with family. The hotel is clean and in good repair. There was a mix up with the booking but they corrected the issue quickly and professionally. Really canât fault this hotel. Keeping in mind the price point, it is exactly what you would expect and hope for. Oh, they have changed their parking rates, some sites say £35 per night however the rate is now £41 per night.
