Spent a night at hotel on our way to Liverpool from Heathrow. Good parking facilities and friendly reception. Rooms were large with 2 double beds and a lovely bathroom. I am so glad that most hotels have a stand alone shower instead of shower in the bath. ( my pet hate)
Rooms were clean and free WiFi was good.
Typical Holiday Inn which is to be found around the world.

I wrote a review recently after a bad experience in another Holiday Inn , however this week I needed an overnight near London and stayed here for a one night business stay over , tired and hungry when I arrived . I donât need to write much detail - welcome at reception 5 star - welcome in bar for meal 5 star - food very good - room comfortable high standard - check out 5 star - itâs the people and their ethos of care which is the difference. ð

A week in slough required a local hotel and the location was perfect.Decent size car park ,pleasant welcome on arrival.Rooms are a good size as youâd expect with holiday inn .Food reasonable and refreshments .
Breakfast was a little slow to replace empty eggs ,sausages etc but overall a good stay .
Holiday inn rarely let you down !

I've been coming to Slough several times every year for 12 years, and whenever possible I stay at the Holiday Inn at Chalvey. During that time I have always received friendly and enthusiastic service from all the staff - reception, bar, restaurant and breakfast.
They have taken the trouble to recognise and remember me by name, to remember that I need breakfast really early, which newspaper I like to read and many other details.
The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, and it has recently been refurbished in the public areas. The rooms have always been very well serviced. The air conditioning works well, too, and the windows are well glazed and soundproof - an important consideration since Slough is on the flightpath to and from Heathrow airport nearby.
BUT...the company I work for in Slough is moving to Reading this weekend, and so it seems unlikely that I will visit this Holiday Inn again any time soon, if at all.
I regret that I shall probably not see my friends again. It seems invidious to pick out any individual specifically, but I shall especially miss the friendly, enthusiastic Monica at breakfast time. Being greeted by Monica at 6:30 am is a great way to start the day.
That said, you have all been superb over the years. I am most grateful.

Thereâs not much to this place. A small reception bar area, clean, standard fairly basic rooms, etc, just what youâd expect from one of the cheap to mid market chains. One highlight though was a fabulous pizza in the bar, big enough for two but freshly cooked and very tasty. Well done
